Awake, awake, put on strength, for the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For the waters have run deep, almost to consuming levels, but I have called you into the deep and have shown you how to swim. Now I say swim–swim like your life depends upon it. For the strength of the Lord is your buoyancy and you will not sink.
Falter not when others look down upon you, even seem to despise you; for their lack of understanding proves that they are not on a level to look down upon anyone. Everyone–yes everyone, has the ability and yes, the calling, to look up.
Look up for your redemption draweth nigh.
Look up for your redeemer calls you by name and that name translates as…
- Righteous One
- Faithful One
- The Beloved of the Lord
- My Chosen One
- One who knows no sin for she wears the garment of the Blood.
“Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for there shall no more come unto you the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake yourself from the dust, arise; O captive Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.” Is. 52:1-2
“Your eyes will see the King in his beauty; they will behold a land that stretches afar.” Is. 33:17
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary, his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.” Is. 40:28-20
