Supplement a rich diet of the Word with prayer. The two go hand in hand and should never be apart. For you can read, and even know My Word, but prayer inquires and enlists My help.
Prayer activates Divine intervention
Without prayer, I would be intercepting and out of order. I AM a God of order and I do not control your life. Rather, I empower you to be in charge, and enable you to be in control. Prayers enlist Me to Divinely support you, actively listen and to interact with you in your life, on your behalf.
I AM your Divine council
Bring your thoughts to the table and inquire of Me. I already know what you are thinking, but prayer and listening enables you to hear what I AM thinking.
Prayer is an outward expression of caring for another
It gives you an active voice on their behalf, and an opportunity for you to serve those you love and care for–even when they are not near.
Prayer brings Me near to hear
Is that clear?
Please Pray
I AM Here to Hear
“God has taken his place in the divine council–” Psalms 82:1a
“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving–” Colossians 4:2a
“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord; and my prayer came to thee, into thy holy temple.” Johah 2:7
“Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication!” Psalms 55:1
“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, will receive anything from the Lord.” James 1:5-8
“May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! Now I know that the Lord will help his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with mighty victories by his right hand.” Psalms 20:4-6
“Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let hims sing praise. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.” James 5:13-16
Just so you know I am in agreement with you, Great Post! 😉
Please tell I didn’t mess my words up again? Blessings, James

My friends, you have blessed me in your faithfulness to read what God speaks. Thank you! Be sure not to miss the May 31st post; I believe it shines as His most glorious dictation yet. I sense that it may be the last for a bit. Change is in the air and God is training me for this. We shall see what He is up to when He reveals it. I am not ending my blog, but may not be posting my usual every day. I am not certain yet, but open to wherever He leads, and to do what He calls me to do. Thank you again for your faithful support and friendship, you have blessed me well, and I pray the Lord bless you and keep you always close to His heart!! Lori
