As you see a clean page before you, waiting to be written upon.–so you see your life.
Much has been done to prepare a place for Me in your heart, that I may begin. You have humbled yourself before Me in repentance, that I may come in.
“For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly grief produces death.” II Corinthians 7:10
“Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will exalt you.” James 4:10
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20
It is My Blood given, that I exchanged your life for new. You asked for the Holy Spirit and He was granted unto you. It was His perfect work, revealing in you, what could no longer be…what was not pleasing to Me.
“If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth; but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” I John 1:6-7
“For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:10-13
Through patience and perseverance you have given Me your strife; exchanged it for Love–My given sacrifice.
“For while there is jealously and strife among you, are you not of the flesh, and behaving like ordinary men?” I Corinthians 3:3
“Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.” Proverbs 10:12
“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:11-14
And now you understand fully, what it means to take up your cross. To follow is not easy, and sometimes requires loss. But the love that I give, has not just been given; it gives, and gives more, the more you’ve been living.
“He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and he who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:37-38
“And he said to all, ‘If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it.'” Luke 9:23-24
“And every one who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” Matthew 19:29
