Carry The Baton

Diligence is the key.

Many fail to persevere; they look for instant answers to deep questions. The answers will come when you have faith to receive; when in your faith you believe. But first My Word must become rooted down in your soul, for your body to be made whole.

“–and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19

Yes, you may ascent to My Scriptures and say you believe, but you must know them in your heart–truly own them to receive.

The Cross was the beginning–

your point of acknowledgment, for I pass the baton to you. Run your race empowered by My Grace, for all good things have been added unto you.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.” I Corinthians 9:24

“–but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature be thus minded; and if in anything you are otherwise minded, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.” Philippians 3:13a-16

“–let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1b-2

The depth that you go, will determine what you know–

empowering you to grow.

When the child is a man–then he shall understand, that the treasure was his all along.

“I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no better than a slave, though he is the owner of all the estate; but he is under guardians and trustees until the date set by the father. so with us; when we were children, we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe.

But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, ‘Abba! Father!’ So through God you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son then an heir.” Galatians 4:1-7

When you rightfully take your place,

still standing in My Grace, but receiving all, truly all–you’ll own what I give–truly to live, the victory that was yours all along.

Now pass the baton.

“For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God and receive what is promised.

‘For yet a little while, and the coming one shall come and shall not tarry; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.’

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and keep their souls.” Hebrews 10:36-39

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumph, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” II Corinthians 2:14

“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:11-14
