This New Baby

I had a dream that I had a new baby. The baby was wonderful and seemed so mature that I would forget that it needed to nurse. Though it still needed that early nourishment, it would often be reluctant to nurse, when I finally remembered, causing a struggle between me and my baby.

*******************************************************************************************

I want you to understand that with each new task I bring you to, there is a process of maturing for that task.

You may even have done it before and therefore think you can skip the early stages–diving in to what you know, but there is a process in which you both must grow; you and the task grow together. Each event is new, but as you grow, there’s always more to know–bigger things to chew.

Therefore, I want you to think of it as birthing a baby; be attentive to each need; learn its subtle differences; grow with what you know, but–grow!

Don’t get complacent, thinking that you’ve ‘arrived’, for many have derailed, thinking this way.

“For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacence of fools destroys them; but he who listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of evil.” Proverbs 1:32-33

Seek to know, seek to grow and thrive with each new ‘baby’ I bring your way. For each one is alive and needs you to thrive, step by, sometimes, tedious step–

always begin this way!

“Whatever your task, work heartily as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24

“Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and the late rain.” James 5:7

“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his presence continually!” Psalms 105:4

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” Psalms 1:1-3

  2. My dear sister in Christ I might believe that you had read my new post before you had written this post yet I know you had not. I know for certain these words came first. I can only believe that our Lord has given to you words of encouragement and wisdom I needed to hear. How Great is our God we shall never really know and forever Our Lord shall never cease to amaze us, Amen.
May the word of the Lord always be poured into your heart and out your pen as He blesses you to bless others, Amen

    • smile, yes James I received the message in the early morning of the 18th to be exact and when I went back and read it you clearly came to mind. This message was the most difficult of all 247ish messages, to find scriptures for. You see it was all about the message. Find your guidance and stand strong, you have much to do and the children need your light. I am thrilled for all that our wonderful Lord is doing with you and blessed to have a part to play in your process of giving. You give of your heart and life and very soul and you can be content to know that Jesus will see that your needs are met for you are FAITHFUL. Be blessed my friend and keep writing!
