A Glorious Strand of Pearls

The Lord has brought this message to my heart several times in the past few weeks. It was originally posted in May of 2013, titled “Strand of Pearls,” and of all the messages He has given me, this is one of my favorites.

The Lord’s heart shines with love for His Bride in this message.

In this trying time, when many churches have been isolated and scattered, it is good to remember that we don’t stand alone–we are one body–the Body of Christ, His Bride, and ‘together we stand’ in glorious splendor!

Strand of Pearls

Envision, if you would, a strand of pearls–majestic and beautiful, graceful. Notice the gradual increase from the smallest pearl, at the clasp, to those that grace the throat. A bride wears these pearls–My Bride is these pearls. Each one a graceful beauty in itself, but oh, when alongside another–joined to the Body, truly you shine in glorious splendor!

One alone is easily lost . . .

And can easily fall away to a different direction. When each pearl is in its place, and doing its part, the strand is useful and beautiful in its purpose–all works together for good, together as one. Break the strand and most will tumble and fall, scattered in many directions–some lost. But notice it is the smallest, the tiny pearls, that fall away first. The larger pearls in the ‘united front’ remain united and carry on; awaiting new joiners or those that are found to return.

And there you see My Church Body–My Bride.

Should the clasp–the leader, remain strong–My church remains together, none are lost. If that clasp should falter and fail, the body will scatter, little ones lost, no further purpose; no union there.

The little ones, are those that cling closest to the clasp. They delight My heart for they are eager to please, but they have little root and cannot–must not stand alone. They easily fall away and do not hold the splendor of the majestic and wisened pearls; but they hold the. . .

Beauty of promise.

Sweetness of youth.

Without them the Body would not have balance, symmetry and graceful graduation. They are its true support! My least shall be first in My strand of pearls and the first I seek to restore, should My Church Body be broken.

My sage and wisened pearls, those standing sentry at the front–oh my how lovely, majestic in glory and remain strong on their own; they are easy to find, for they remain faithful and do not run when confusion comes. They seek to resolve–commit to restore and stand at the battlefront–they do not fear more.

But I caution My Body–those at the front . . .

You can be weighty and pull on the clasp. Pride can bring demand–remember your place. You are a servant, and one of the same body. You support the strand like everyone else. You are to submit to My leadership and those I appoint over you. Keep the clasp together, that none may be lost; all in their place–full of Grace, beauty to behold . . .

My united Bride–My pearls of great price!

I would sell all I have for just one of you; you are that valuable to Me.

And I did–I gave it all!

Stand united for My Glory–My Glorious Bride

For you are one, and to you–

I Come!

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” Ephesians 4:4-7

“Above all hold unfailing your love for one another, since love covers a multitude of sins. Practice hospitality ungrudgingly to one another. As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God varied grace.” I Peter 4:8-10

“Likewise you that are younger be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”  I Peter 5:5

“But many that are first will be last, and the last first.” Mark 10:31

“Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their life, and imitate their faith.” “Obey your leaders and submit to them; for they are keeping watch over your souls, as men who will have to give account. Let them do this joyfully, and not sadly, for that would be of no advantage to you.” Hebrews 13:7, 17

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:45-46

“Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love of the brethren, a tender heart and a humble mind.” I Peter 3:8

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:18

“Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb,” And in the Spirit he carried me away to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.” “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass. And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.” Revelation 21:9-11, 21-22

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense, to repay every one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” “The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let him who hears say, “Come.” And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price.” Revelation 22:12-13, 17

“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!” Revelation 22:20

Two new books available to help you in these challenging times . . .

“Comfort in the Challenge.” Published in 2019, and written in dedication to caregivers. A book inspired by God, in provision, before awareness of Covid 19. Read it to be comforted, and encouraged. All messages are spoken from the Heart of God as fresh bread. All proceeds from “Comfort in the Challenge” go directly to Canaanland Ministries of Autaugaville, Alabama. Canaanland has a wonderfully successful 40 year history, dedicated to helping men desiring to overcome addiction and find new life in Jesus!

“His Voice in My Heart,” published in 2020. A journey of messages God has spoken over the past seven years to bring healing and restoration to the wounded soul. In sorting messages for “Comfort in the Challenge,” ‘prisoners’ welled up in my heart so strongly, that I began to sort messages for this special assignment as well. “His Voice in My Heart” is filled with His messages to comfort, challenge and bring restoration; along with several inspiring true testimonies of God’s healing and provision. “His Voice in My Heart” is a book of your journey to freedom!

The messages are spoken from the heart of God, but are not meant to replace the Word; rather, they serve to lead you to it; to give practical application and encourage understanding of the Word. It is the Word of God that saves, heals and delivers–Jesus, is the Word. Included in both books you will find many scriptures for your study in the Word.

Do not hold back from supporting ministries that are preaching the gospel around the world. They serve the Lord and are reaching places you may never see. When you support the preaching of the Gospel, you support the Lord’s work and hasten our coming Lord, King Jesus.

Human nature tends to shoot their best supporting foot, just because it steps a little different than the other. May we all take on the ‘nature’ of God and receive His peace and understanding for one another!

Justice Waits

Do you understand that every thing created has its place, and carries on the business it was created to do?

It is a system that flows; morning and night–each has its purpose. (Psalms 104)

Man has disturbed the balance with sin.

No Rest.

Fighting for power.

Even the animals can’t find their place–

they are scattered, moved about, from place to place.

Upheaval

An imbalance in the world groans to right itself . . .

Only when man turns from wickedness will this be–only when man turns to Me.

For I created it–I could destroy it.

But no, I wait.

“For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.” Romans 8:19-24

“But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.'” II Timothy 2:19

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2

“Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, with trembling kiss his feet, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way; for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” Psalms 2:10-11

Rest for the Reverent

Tender is your heart toward Me and I AM pleased.

Trust unwavering.

A life spent in commitment . . .

  • Absolute
  • Resolute

–these words come to mind when I think of you.

Why then, does it matter what others may think?

They do not know you, nor do they understand the ministry I have placed on your life; for it is unique to you–as theirs is too! Everyone has a call; all are chosen–if they would choose, would give it their all, but many do not. They toil and fight with their life, unwilling to surrender for fear of the unknown.

But, I AM, what they don’t know.

For you know Me–I delight to BLESS those who love Me!

And I often bless those who don’t–in hope that they might turn and see that I AM Love. I AM the ‘future’ that they can’t see–

for in respect or neglect, I AM still there–those who bow before Me in reverence and respect are immeasurably BLESSED!

“But I through the abundance of thy steadfast love will enter thy house. I will worship toward thy holy temple in the fear of thee.” Psalms 5:7

You who bow before Me, are you still concerned what others may think?

I AM your explanation.

I AM your defense.

Bow before me in reverence, and leave the REST to Me.

“Why do you pass judgment on your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.’ So each of us shall give account of himself to God. Then let us no more pass judgment on one another, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.” “Let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.” Romans 14:10-13, 19*

“‘You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.'” Matthew 5:43-45

“But let all who take refuge in thee rejoice, let them ever sing for joy; and do thou defend them, that those who love thy name may exult in thee. For thou dost bless the righteous, O Lord; thou dost cover him with favor as with a shield.” Psalms 5:11-12

*Author’s note:  Some might argue that the verses from Romans have been taken out of context. The chapter is written in regards to opinions and disputes regarding food. I understand that, but placed it here because it clearly states the Lord’s heart, expressed throughout the scriptures, that we are not to judge another and we each stand alone before God. We are to build each other, not tear each other down or lord superiority over another. In the End, every knee shall bow before Jesus, Lord of all, and give an account of their life. Whether we choose to bow in reverence now or that Day when He comes again, He made it clear in this message, He is ‘there’ in your future.

Refuse to Wear Shame

Happy is he who stands in the court of My Father and is not ashamed.

You wear My Blood.

It is the issue that came forth–proclaiming you to be Mine!

Never to part.

Proclaim this to the enemy, when he speaks of your sin, to your ear. It is the enemy and though he knows truth, he does not speak it–think on this.

Why then do you feel ashamed, as if you believe it?

Shut him down!

You wear My Blood–never to be naked again.

Sin has no place in your life, nor does strife–shut it down.

You wear the Blood.

Bow before Me in humility and cast it aside–but don’t lose your stride–

for you wear My Blood!

It is your Wedding Garment–

not shame.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do; sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, in order that the just requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4

“Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.” Isaiah 54:4-5

“Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7

“–Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:4-6

“Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, ‘Who are these, clothed in white robes, and whence have they come?’ I said to him, ‘Sir, you know.’ And he said to me, ‘These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night within his temple; and he who sits upon the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.'” Revelation 7:13-17

Come Close

It is My hand that formed you–can I not then shape you?

It is My breath within you–shall I not sustain you?

You limit My ability by keeping Me away.

I will pray another day . . .

I would seek, but there’s no time . . .

I am tired–not now.

You are restless and lonely and fearful, for you haven’t time for ‘us.’

It is not ‘Master and servant.’

It is not–‘I’m up here and you there.’

Look to your own heart and be still before Me–I AM!

I wait–for you.

“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me round among them; and behold, there were very many upon the valley; and lo, they were very dry. And he said to me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, thou knowest.’ Again he said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the Lord.'” Ezekiel 37:1-6

Thankful to Be Alive!

God saved my life yesterday, as I was heading to work.

I was heading up a hill on my road when a truck, coming from the opposite direction, veered off the road, corrected itself and came into my lane. This was the only time they were driving straight and they were headed straight for me.

I watched in amazement.

It was so surreal that I didn’t react. I braked and glanced to the side but there was nowhere to go, as I was heading up hill and it dropped off on my side. The truck came within just a couple of yards, at most, and then lurched into their lane.

As they drove past I could see it was a couple of young guys. So I thought they were maybe playing a game of chicken with me; but as they came into my rear view mirror, I watched them run off the road again; and then again they got into my lane and continued on, now veering all over the road.

I called 911.

My worst thought of the whole thing was after I called 911. I thought that they might kill themselves and others. I really didn’t have fear, no emotion at all except to watch it happen like a movie.

It seems at the worst of times, the Lord gives His calm.

In my past, a man came at me with a loaded gun; after he had just beaten me severely. At the time, I had no fear. I had a concussion and at one point was only half conscious, but the Lord gave me strength; and I was able to talk him out of the bullets. It was afterward that I went into shock, but at the time I was able to do what I had to do and not be afraid.

The Spirit of God spoke through me and he broke down, crumpled to the floor and sobbed. God then gave me immediate forgiveness for him and I was able to comfort him. I am not saying that anyone should stay with a violent person. I was not in relationship with this man; I had just started working for him, and barely knew him. He needed help and he got it, but his help began with the love of God, and His forgiveness in my heart.

In the midst of this, actually when he ran for the gun, the Lord told me the man had demons. After he had broken down and I had the bullets in my hand, I confronted him with this information. He admitted it and told me that they had been telling him to kill himself since he was 13 years old.

I prayed deliverance over him. It was a long time ago and I was inexperienced, but acted in faith with what little I knew. What I knew was how much I didn’t know, but God’s Spirit was on me to bring to light the root of that man’s behavior.

But God doesn’t just expose sin; He then poured His Compassion, Forgiveness and Comfort through me, to this man. That is how great our Jesus is! He brings to light, He delivers and He heals; and He uses us, even in our weakest moment, because IN HIM, we are strong!

I believe my Angel acted on my behalf to make that truck veer at the last minute.

I am learning of the Angels through their activities in my life. This morning I wasn’t looking for it but the Lord led me to a scripture referring to Angels, Psalms 103:20.

“Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word!” Psalms 103:20

I hadn’t seen that when I was searching through the scriptures, regarding my last post, ‘Partnering with Angels.’ So now I see this and wonder . . . Might we command the Angels, when we speak God’s Word?

God sends them on behalf of our prayer in faith to His Word; and they come to act in our behalf, in accordance to the Word. When we speak His Word, and pray in line with His Word, we are ‘giving voice’ to His Word.

So I rarely write on this blog from my own perspective. The messages you read come from God. I receive a message in 5 minutes, maybe 10 if it is a really long one. They are not my thoughts or words, but from the Spirit of God pouring through me. But occasionally I write from me. This is one of those occasions, because I wanted to say,

Thank God I am ALIVE!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

For those in the USA, it is our celebration of freedom! For everyone who knows the Lord, we celebrate FREEDOM in Him, no matter where you live or what day it is!

For those who don’t know Him, you don’t know TRUE FREEDOM!

Won’t you ask Him today to come into your heart, and let Him show you what I mean?

You will never regret it.

It will be the greatest day of your life!

“For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:17-18
