Dressed for Success!

What is appropriate for this season?

As you know, they are not all alike.

Just as you wouldn’t wear Capri-style pants in the cold of winter, you have a new ‘dress code’ for this ‘new’ season. This ‘new season’ requires a more substantial appearance. I AM referring to your ‘stance’ in the Spiritual Kingdom.

“But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, for ever and ever.” Daniel 7:18

So many of My people–followers, believers, live as though this Kingdom is apart from them. Whereas, I expect it to be a part of them. It is necessary to carry ‘the Kingdom’ in your heart, everywhere you go; for where you are, there I AM–if indeed I dwell within you; for I AM the Kingdom, and therefore, the Kingdom should emanate from you and surround you wherever you go.

“Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, he answered them, ‘The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Lo, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.'” Luke 17:20-21

Where you are, I AM.

Do you understand then, that you are mighty in battle–a warrior in the Spirit-realm; while at the same time emitting a sweet aroma to those around you?

You fight not in the flesh–it is the Kingdom. So don’t wear your Capri’s in the wintertime; though, that would surely cause others to wonder. No, take your stance in the Kingdom, appropriately dressed–for the season!

It is fierce–it is sweet.

It is, I AM!

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” Ephesians 6:10-18

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumph, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many peddlers of God’s word; but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.” II Corinthians 2:14-17

“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:11-14

“‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'” Matthew 25:37-40

  1. Many years ago, shortly after I became a Christian, I was arrested. It was a wrongful arrest and it was a horrible, dehumanizing, traumatizing experience. I was put into a single cell, which contained nothing but a thin mattress, a worn blanket, and a small, torn piece of paper that someone had stuck to the wall. This scripture was written on that scrap of paper:

    Ephesians 6:11-12
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Amen! As it turned out, God heard my cry and the false charges were dropped, with prejudice. Indeed, in this world we will have tribulation. But my soul rejoices, because our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus has overcome the world!

    • Amen! It breaks my heart, Linda, to hear how much trauma you have had to endure. Praise God you have now found His enduring Love!
I was declaring some things the other day, after the enemy’s attempts to bring me back to hurtful things from my past. All of a sudden, out of my spirit, I declared, that has been expunged, it can’t hurt me any more.
You know, I stopped short, because I had not heard that word before. Apparently it is common in the legal world but I have not been there either. So I looked it up and rejoiced that it means even the memory of it removed.
Out of their belly shall flow rivers of living water!
Expunged! I like my new-found word. I’m going to keep that one handy!
Praise Jesus for freedom and the friendship of the Holy Spirit that reminds us of whose we are and that we truly are, FREE!

      • Expunged. Hallelujah! Glory to God! The very idea makes me want to sing and shout to the Lord!

Thank you for your tender compassion. The Lord has brought so much good out of the traumas of my life. I believe that I needed to go through at least some of my sufferings, to teach me things that I desperately needed to learn.

But even if I am wrong about that, I know it’s true that my momentary, light afflictions are nothing compared to the eternal glory to come.

        Expunged! Hallelujah!!!!!!!
