Reflection Direction, add Salt

There’s fire that burns within–

This is a new chapter in your life, and yet there is much of the old that carries through–as seasoned wine–it is wisdom learned. So, embrace the new but weigh the old, all are good to prepare you for what’s ahead.

You will flourish if you look to Me for guidance, and keep a check on your heart; it tends to wane if there is not fresh activity, but rest is necessary. Take time to be calm and replenish–stay in peace.

This season can be volatile, especially, if you focus on the events taking place in the world. It is important to be informed, but what are you feeding on? Will it bring life or speak death to your spirit?

Balance is imperative

My Word is your plumb-line.

Connect with those of like-faith, but do not neglect to be among those you don’t agree with. You are a light for them to see–in you, they see Me.

Be You!

Be genuine and leave their hearts to Me. It is not for you to change and rearrange–that is My place–I AM the One they must face.

“As for the man who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not for disputes over opinions.” Romans 14:1

“Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 15:7

So, you want to be about My business . . .

Begin by asking yourself this question . . . When they see you, do they see Me?

Who are they? —Everyone you see–they’re looking back at Me. I dwell within

Show them I AM!

“Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.” Colossians 4:5-6

“So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ.” Romans 10:17

“Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 4:29-5:1-2

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

“‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'” Matthew 25:37-40
