The Promise Still Stands

Tragedy has hit nearly every family in one form or another.

I AM here.

Do you think I AM absent at such a time as this?

I Am present, even though you do not sense Me–even though you do not see Me.

I carry you.

If you are honest, you will know that there is nowhere on this earth that you can go, where I will not be present with you.

Be honest and trust Me. I AM in this with you, and I will see you through . . . We will come out the other side of it. We will put it behind us and move forward!

We will again bear fruit, but it will be more lush, more fragrant and more inviting for others, for it will be mature fruit. The fruit of the vine that’s been pruned–purposed to bear more!

“Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” John 15:2

The fruit in the Promised Land was so luscious and weighty, it took two men to carry it–imagine that!

“And they came to the Valley of Eschcol, and cut down from there a branch with a single cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two of them; they brought also some pomegranates and figs.” Numbers 13:23

It is the fruit intended for those who cross over into the Promise.

The grumblers, complainers, fearful, never reached it. Those that doubted, chose to believe the bad report. They feared man, rather than put their faith and trust in Me.

“But Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once, and occupy it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” So they brought to the people of Israel an evil report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The Land, through which we have gone, to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim); and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.” Numbers 13:30-33

Don’t let this season pull you off course.

Determine to cross over to plenty.

Rejoice that I prune you. It is only the healthy ones, that are attached and flourishing, that I AM able to do so . . .

Those who are ready for more!

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

“Do not return evil for evil or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary bless, for to this you have been called, that you may obtain a blessing. For ‘He that would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking guile; let him turn away from evil and do right; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those that do evil.'” I Peter 3:9-12

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” Psalms 1:1-6

“Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, with trembling kiss his feet, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way; for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” Psalms 2:10-12

Where You Choose to Dwell

Rest in My Love–it is there for you always–even when you don’t feel it. If you will trust, in these times of uncertainty, you will surely find My Presence; for I AM here.

A cleansing must come to the Body of Christ–My Body.

The impurities of the world would cling to you. Continue to be washed in My Word, dwell in it!

Do you see?

You don’t walk through the Word–you dwell in it.

You walk through the world, but you don’t dwell in it.

Those who get the two mixed up, stumble–

should you stumble, become aware–assess your situation . . .

“He who loves his brother abides in the light, and in it there is no cause for stumbling. But he who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” I John 2:10-11

Where are you walking, and where do you dwell?

It is a decision you make, for the path that you take.

It is a decision you make, to veer.

You decide!

Come–ABIDE

“–for once you were darkness, but now you are light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord” Ephesians 5:8-10

“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17

“And this is love, that we follow his commandments; this is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you follow love. For many deceivers have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. Look to yourselves, that you may not lose what you have worked for, but may win a full reward. Any one who goes ahead and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God; he who abides in the doctrine has both the Father and the Son. If any one comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into the house or give him any greeting; for he who greets him shares his wicked work.” II John 6-11

“No one who denies the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he has promised us, eternal life.” I John 2:23-25

“Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance, who exult in thy name all the day, and extol thy righteousness.” Psalms 89:15-16

Faith in a Faithful God

Hello Reader, it’s so good to see you again. I have missed you.

It has been a very different year for me, and I wish I could say that I understand it all, but that would not be true. I live by faith that I will grow more and more in understanding every day.

The Lord is GOOD!

I was working on my next book; the third in the, “His Voice in My Heart” series, when the Lord called a rest. He simply said, “Why don’t you think more toward spring, rather than Christmas?” “Ok, sure.” So, I thought He wanted me to take it at a slower pace and with that in mind, I kept dabbling at it. He has a way of making His point, when we just don’t seem to get it; and His ‘way’ of choice was to pull the anointing–much like turning out the light. I could either sit there in the dark or take the hint. Either way, I will not be writing without Him–not by ability, or by choice!

Understand, this is just not my work!

This “rest” has taken me through some growing pains, but it was when I embraced it all, and said to the Lord, “Seasons change and this will too; don’t let me miss what I am to learn in this!” That was the moment that things began to turn.

Abide!

So as I emerge with an inkling that I will soon be writing that book again, the Lord has given me a testimony to share . . .

Back when I was writing, I was getting a nudge in my heart that I would be needing a new computer. As it seemed to be working fine, except for the keyboard getting a little glitchy and battery showing it’s age, I sort of shelved the nudge for later. Soon after, He stopped my writing. My computer became just a source to connect to work and check on accounts; so all the more I wasn’t looking into replacing it.

One day, I wasn’t even sitting at my computer, but a cup of coffee was; and as I fussed with stuff nearby, somehow I managed to slap that cup of coffee all over the keyboard of my laptop. Rushing it to the laptop hospital, that night, it came to me again about getting a new computer; though the other one was working except for the keyboard. So, I started looking online and the next day, locally, asked to see an open box computer that said “fair condition.” The outside of the box declared scratches and dents, missing cords, pen and paperwork. However, I was in a hurry and didn’t read the statement sticker on the box. I asked to see the computer itself and when the salesman unboxed it, neither of us could find a scratch on it. Being in a hurry, I asked him if it had the cord, and He replied, “Yes.” Not checking to confirm, but trusting what he said, I bought it–big mistake! I got home later and found that it not only didn’t have the pen and paperwork, but no cords; nothing but the computer itself. I took the whole box apart and found that it was just as the sticker stated.

How could I be so irresponsible?

I looked up all the parts that I was missing and found that it would cost close to $250 to replace them. I decided to just take it all back and order a new one the next day. It was disappointing, because I thought I was getting a good deal.

The next morning I was about to go there, first thing, when the Lord spoke to me to look in the box. I obeyed, but reminded the Lord that I had taken everything out of that box, even the little false bottom box that holds the computer up higher in the box, but there was nothing. He must have smiled at that, because when I pulled out that little black box from the bottom, this time it was heavy! There, in that box, were the cord, the pen and the instructions. Everything that the sticker on the box declared missing–all were new, still in wrapping.

I rejoiced!

I was especially glad, because they called to say they couldn’t get the keyboard for my computer and told me to come and get my laptop while they searched for one. They sent me home with a loaner USB keyboard, that I used to transfer all my stuff to a USB storage and then to the new computer. I used the old laptop for two weeks, even loaded Photoshop on it and used it, which is a big file. In two weeks time they called to say they got the keyboard and I took the laptop in for them to replace the keyboard. After a weeks vacation, I called to ask about my computer only to hear that they couldn’t even boot it up. I was shocked. It had been working just fine! He said he would continue to work on it, but said someone must have spilled something on it. I told him “Yeah, I told you that when I took it in.” So I had my new computer and wasn’t in a hurry, but hoped they could fix it as the Photo Shop is now incompatible with the new technology in my computer.

In the meantime, I was enjoying my new computer so much, and was careful not to eat near it. One day however, I just set a bowl of cereal down by it, to move my computer out of the way, and somehow history repeated itself and I slapped that bowl of cereal all over my new computer! Oh no, not again! I called immediately, an hour before they closed, and begged him to open the computer and dry it out right away. The keyboard wasn’t working, the video wouldn’t play and other things were scrambling fast. He agreed and I rushed it to the laptop hospital to share a room right next to my other computer. How could this be happening??

I wanted to stay to hear the verdict, but they wouldn’t let me hang around. I went home with my heart heavy and mind whirling; so very mad at myself for not learning the lesson the first time! Pulling into my driveway, I got out to get the mail. Right then, the Lord spoke, strong, right from my chest. “Your computer is going to be all right.” He said it twice. I expect He wanted to confirm it because I was so upset. It was so clearly His Voice.

Clinging to those words, I waited.

It came to me, that weekend, about what had happened with my other computer. In revelation, I knew that they didn’t open and clean it when I first took it in. In fact, it came to me, that they didn’t open it at all until they went to replace the keyboard. I decided right then to give it to the Lord. As hard as it is to lose a working computer, I felt that I needed to let it go and be thankful for the new one, that He said would be ok.

When the guy called to tell me the computer was working, but the old one still was not, I point-blank, but without emotion, stated that he didn’t open it to dry it out. He said he did and cleaned it too. To which I replied, “Yes, but you didn’t do that when I first took it in, did you?” He admitted that he hadn’t and we both knew that was why it had stopped working. It had ruined the motherboard.

When I went in for my computer, I took him my books and thanked him for saving my computer; explaining that I couldn’t write the next book without it. I got the computer home and found the face recognition wasn’t working. Taking it back in, two guys looked it over. The webcam and camera no longer worked. The whole screen would have to be replaced or get an accessory webcam. I don’t use cam, except for face recognition, and so I took it home; sad that it was no longer perfect, but grateful that it worked! It was a small price to pay. That night though, I prayed and asked the Lord to fix it for me. He can do anything. I repented for not learning my lesson and asked if He would make it perfect again so it wouldn’t remind me every time I used it of how foolish I had been.

The next morning, my laptop worked perfectly–facial recognition and all!

I expect that if I had come down hard on the computer guy for his mistake, that God wouldn’t have fixed my mistake. The best part of this whole story is that when I was pulling into the computer hospital to get my laptop back, I got a call from an ex-prisoner, that the Lord had led me to at a coffee shop; a whole ‘nuther story in itself! He has been reading my books and he called to say he is halfway through the first “His Voice in My Heart” and plans to read it all over again before he moves on to the next. He was so excited and, my friends, this is what it is all about!

I write for him.

I write for HIM!

The Rule of Emotion

Emotions were never meant to be a barometer for your day.

They were given as a gift to feel and express joy, sadness, love–releasing or receiving feelings as they come and go–flow through your life, but they are not to rule.

Consider this, would you bow to an emotion or honor a feeling? No, no more than you would consider bowing to the devil and yet, many do, when they allow their emotions to rule.

The pain and heartache you feel is very real, but change can happen in the twinkling of an eye. Offer your heartache to Me, knowing that I’ll take it from thee.

There is so much in store for you, but the process isn’t easy–let go to receive.

The process is in layers; if I were to bring you through, all at once, you would be undone–you would be overwhelmed. Even now, as I dole it out in portions, revealing a layer at a time, you often come crying.

My desire is not to hurt you, but there will be pain as you learn to retrain your thinking–developing new ways for old patterns that are revealed.

“A man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Come align with Me

  • Your steps
  • Your thinking
  • Your heart

I have a purpose for you–we are partners-we work together.

“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; thy steadfast love, O Lord, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of thy hands.” Psalms 138:8

Now, you can continue to cry out your emotions or you may use the abilities I have given you; exercise your faith to move forward and work toward your future.

Yes, I give you seasons of rest, but there is also a season of work.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3

Stay close to Me.

Abide in My Love as I guide you through each day. Come what may, it is not by chance what you receive, but what you believe–you will receive.

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:1-11

“As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

The Driving Force

Examine yourself before you decide what it is that you believe.

Would you take My Name in vain?

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7

If you do not know what you believe; if you do not know what to receive, you carry My Name in vain.

“This people honors me with their lips, but their heart if far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.” Matthew 15:8-9

If I AM your identity–if you identify with who I AM, then you should know Me–really know Me.

I AM

Do you know I AM?

It is a dangerous thing to call yourself a believer and follower and never come to understand the depth of the Cross.

“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” I Corinthians 1:18

It is like driving a car without learning how; you leave yourself wide open to being hurt and hurting others.

Think about it and then decide

What it is that you want?

Do you want to learn how to drive or just see the car parked in your yard? That is what it is if you don’t take the time to learn of Me–a mere facade and you’re not going anywhere.

A powerless prize.

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7

Turn it around.

Learn to drive.

“For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.” I Corinthians 4:20

Abide!

“Jesus answered him, ‘If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.'” John 14:23-24

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you.

By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.” John 15:1-8

“We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin. For he who has died is freed from sin. But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. The death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:6-11

“And he said to all, ‘If any man come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it.'” Luke 9:23-24

Greater Love

Legends have come and legends have gone, but there is one thing that lasts a lifetime…Love.

You might not think that–given the current divorce rate, but the one factor that drives those to divorce is love–

for self.

Now, what are the two greatest commandments?

Love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy strength and with all thy mind.

And

Love thy neighbor as thy self.

If you would love others as much as you love yourself, you would be loving your God with all your heart. For only when a heart is turned toward God, does it love another with the love of God beyond themselves. And that kind of love, Agape Love, lasts a lifetime.

Legendary love?

It’s not a legend–it’s the Truth.

Love.

“And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered right; do this, and you will live.”” Luke 10:25-28

“But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your cloak do not withhold your coat as well. Give to every one who begs from you; and of him who takes away your goods do not ask them again. And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.” Luke 6:27-31

“We love, because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should love his brother also.” I John 4:19-21

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:9-12

Clear Purpose

It is apparent that those who follow closely to My side, have trained their heart to abide. It wasn’t merely a ‘head’ decision; yes, they thought about it, but then took it deeper.

Meditation of a matter takes it deep into the heart of a man.

“May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.” Psalms 104:24

This form of ownership is what causes a man to follow closely, without needing to think every move through; it is just natural, for they naturally abide. That is when you know that you are no longer in ‘works’ but fellowship.

“–but the anointing which you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him.” I John 2:26-27

You know My heartbeat for you linger and languish at My side. It is a luxury that many do not afford themselves in these fast-paced days–to linger, to rest at My side.

Abide–listening to My desires, as I listen to yours…

  • Fellowship
  • Communion
  • Companionship
  • Love

Life is short, and the battle is hard, but for those who learn of Me, the way is clear; for I steer those who are near. They are not carried by the tide, but have clear purpose when I AM near–

when you abide.

“And by this we may be sure that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He who says ‘I know him’ but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps his word, in him truly love for God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him: he who says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” I John 2:3-6

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever.” I John 2:15-17

“Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.” I John 2:24

“By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. In this is love perfected in us, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world.” I John 4:13-17

“But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all thy works.” Psalms 73:28

“Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!” Psalms 119:2-3

“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalms 128:1-2

Today is Your Day

Your life is changing, and you see differences, and yet your senses tell you that you are not ‘there’ yet…

You are right, for you are not.

This ‘new place’ in your life is but a step in your future, but it is your now. I do not wish for you to miss today searching for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is loss if today is not well understood.

Do you understand?

Seek to know, fully, My will for your life in this time of your life; for there is fruit in every season if you will look for it.

Longing to ‘arrive’ will only prolong the wait, for if you have not matured to the fruit of this season, your heart will debate that too. Therefore, find contentment now; knowing that, if you will allow Me, I will lead you to ever-greener pastures.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.” Psalms 23:1-3

For there is always more, but if you are not ready for more, then more will be wasted. And, should you not utilize what I give you now, then ‘more’ would overwhelm.

Leave the dynamics to Me–I know you completely and I have much more in store for you.

In store.

But as for now, let’s find fruit in today, for this is your day!

“And he made from one every nation of men to live on the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us, for, ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your poets have said. ‘For we are indeed his offspring.'” Acts 17:26-28

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” Colossians 1:9b-12

“–that you may be filled in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:8-11

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God then dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalms 84:10

“Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:1-2

A More Secure Life

I will give you more.

More in a sense that you have never known before. Man thinks of ‘more’ as accumulation, but I see more as increase; the two are not the same.

Just as in multiplication versus addition, man thinks of adding to his life, whereas, I AM interested in multiplying through his life. An endless array of Blessing to him and to others through him.

Do you see I AM all about more, and community, rather than making one person a king? I want to involve as many as would come, to be involved in My network of Blessing.

It is the connection of Love

From man to man, house to house, service to service, ministry to ministry–if you are not involved, you are an island unto yourself and you are your own kingdom.

Your kingdom is temporal, Mine is Eternal.

Your kingdom pleases you, and maybe a small following who keep close to you; My Kingdom reaches far and wide to all who abide, all who’ll receive, all who believe.

ALL

There is no question where the power lies. No question as to which is more secure. Therefore, you have a decision to make. Will you spend your lifetime building your own pile of riches into a kingdom unto yourself?

Big or small it won’t matter to all, and your lifetime will be spent.

“Be not afraid when one becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases. For when he dies he will carry nothing away; his glory will not go down after him. Though, while he lives, he counts himself happy, and though a man gets praise when he does well for himself, he will go to the generation of his fathers, who will never more see the light. Man cannot abide in his pomp, he is like the beasts that perish.” Psalms 49:16-20

Rather, choose to abide, and hear from My Heart, what is your part in building My Kingdom; far more reaching than your lifetime.

When you decide…

I have More!

“Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! His descendents will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

Wealth and riches are in his house; and his righteousness endures for ever. Light rises in the darkness for the upright; the Lord is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered for ever.” Psalms 112:1-6

“The point is this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work. As it is written, ‘He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever.’ He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your resources and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

You will be enriched in every way for great generosity, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God; for the rendering of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints but also overflows in many thanksgivings to God.

Under the test of this service, you will glorify God by your obedience in acknowledging the gospel of Christ, and by the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others; while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!” II Corinthians 9:6-15

“When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left.

Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'” Matthew 25:31-36

“‘–Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'” Matthew 25:40

“Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'” Matthew 25:41-43

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

“And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11

“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn is exalted in honor.” Psalms 112:9

Royal Destiny

There is a great stirring of My people across the land; an agitated enemy arising to face those who serve the Lamb in a final attempt to bring fear and destruction. Those who know My Word have no fear–their destination is clear and they will not be thwarted nor derailed.

This is not a time for a child to continue on milk and soft foods.

You must be weaned quickly for, as the days grow colder, the chill in the air foretells of an increasing coldness in the hearts of man.

“And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:12-14

The time has come for sides to be drawn.

Intermingling will not be tolerated, for as the days of the times wax shorter, it is expedient that all declare allegiance to the God they serve, or it will be the ‘god’ they serve. A somber note for a generation adept at avoiding the Truth.

Salt is good, but if it has lost it’s saltiness, of what use is it but to be thrown out and trampled on by men.

“You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.” Matthew 5:13

You must find your place; be seasoned in Grace, as these latter days wind to an end.

“Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.” Colossians 4:5-6

But you, My friend, are hidden from My Face–the wrath that must take place–the judgment to come upon all. For those who have found their place, set apart from the human race, are royal destiny awaiting the Throne.

“Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the generals and the rich and the strong, and every one, slave and free, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand before it?'” Revelation 6:15-17

Take a side–choose to abide.

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another; the Lord heeded and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and thought on his name. ‘They shall be mine, says the Lord of host, my special possession on the day when I act, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.” Malachi 3:16-18

“‘For behold, the day comes burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 4:1-3

“But you are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.” I Thessalonians 5:4-6

“For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we wake or sleep we might live with him.” I Thessalonians 5:9-10

“And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that every one who does right is born of him.” I John 2:28-29

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'” Psalms 91:1-2

“Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” Psalms 91:14-16
