Simply Receive

Do you believe that My prayers to the Father are answered–that He hears and answers Me? If you believe this, then you know the evil one cannot touch you.

“–And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, ‘Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. I knew that thou hearest me always, but I have said this on account of the people standing by, that they may believe that thou didst send me.'” John 11:40

“I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one.” John 17:15

Do you fear the evil one?

Then you do not believe.

“I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one.” John 17:15

It bears repeating–for My prayer was for you!

The Father always hears My prayers–We are one. Just as you and I are one, likewise as you abide in Me, so you abide in the Father; for we are one. If you know He hears My prayers, you know He hears yours–for we are one.

“And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.” John 17:11

“I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, are in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. The glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me.” John 17:20-23

“I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:26

Why then, do you wonder if the answer will come?

It is in the ‘wonder’ that the block has begun, to stop  the fulfillment of prayer. Don’t wonder–be one with Me and believe–your answer will come!

There is no mountain high enough that you can’t obtain. Likewise, no valley low enough that you cannot abstain.

From the heights to the depths you are not alone.

Why then do you pray with fervency, as if your urgency receives? Prayer is answered to him who believes

Simply Receive!

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7

“–Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name. Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23-24

“Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith? Thus Abraham ‘believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.’ So you see that it is men of faith who are the sons of Abraham.” Galatians 3:5-6

“So then, those who are men of faith are blessed with Abraham who had faith.” Galatians 3:9

“And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.” I John 5:14-15

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:8-11

The Open Door

Do you have the faith of Abraham?

Abraham believed against all hope a promise I had given, when all flesh shouted impossible.

“For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, saying, ‘Surely I will bless you and multiply you.’ And thus Abraham, having patiently endured, obtained the promise.” Hebrews 6:13-15

“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was to go.” Hebrews 11:8

“By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.” Hebrews 11:8, 11-12

Do you have the faith of Noah?

Noah continued to believe, when no one would receive, the message he’d been given. He built an ark facing a lifetime of mockery, ridicule and shame, but simply believed.

“By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, took heed and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; by this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith.” Hebrews 11:7

“He (God) blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark.” Genesis 7:23

“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.” Genesis 9:1

Do you have the faith of Paul?

He stood against tradition and all he had been taught; faced all who’d hated him for what he had wrought. A man who would stand and testify of Me. Though flogged and beaten, he faced it with joy, for he believed in a greater promise–he believed in Me.

“The crowd joined in attacking them (Paul and Silas); and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods. And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely. Having received this charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and every one’s fetters were unfastened.” Acts 16:22-27

“And God did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.” Acts 19:11-12

They all believed, along with countless others who stood the test of time.

Do you believe or do you waver when things don’t happen as you expect? Open My Word and reflect, on the faith of those gone before. My faithful ones who’ve opened the door for you to receive–faith.

“Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.” Hebrews 13:7-8

It’s not about time, for My time is endless and I AM the one that must follow through, for the promises found in My Word to be True.

If you believe.

It’s not yours to deliver, that’s the work of the Giver, but to trust and receive…

If you believe.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.” Hebrews 12:1-3

“–‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?'” John 11:25-26

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?–unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” II Corinthians 13:5

One Step

Moving forward may seem uneasy to you, when your foothold today is uncertain. Please understand, that if you remain standing in uncertainty, you will certainly fall. For fear will take hold and settle in to crack your foundation; much like a weed growing out of cracked cement–give no place to fear!

Take hold of faith and move forward

I will direct your steps. Your faithfulness will be rewarded, for the steps of a faithful man are empowered. As confidence increases, so does your faith.

Faith accomplishes

One step begins the journey that ends with a smile–a day you will not know, lest you take a step…

See it done

Let us begin, take one step!

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.” Philippians 3:13-15 KJV

“Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works, and the scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness”; and he was called the friend of God. You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.” “For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.” James 2:21-24,26

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, will receive anything from the Lord.” James 1:5-8

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord; and he delighteth in his way.” Psalms 37:23 KJV

The Twinkle in Your Eye

Do you suppose Abraham wondered about the grains of sand and the stars in the sky? It is a hard thing to fathom, something so far-fetched, and yet to believe–but he did! He believed the impossible, to be possible, and it became.

Faith like that triumphs! That faith receives

Do you believe?

Accept as fact, that which has no facts, just because I told you so. When you trust Me that much, the sky holds no limit; just as Abraham found to receive. The stars that do shine, are a twinkle in his eye–an endless family.

I want you to seek Me, for the outrageous plan for your life–believe Me, for that which cannot be done.

For I AM the God who doesn’t know impossible…

I speak, and so it is done!

Call upon Me, while I AM near.

Come to Me without fear.

I invite you to come and we will discuss your future–if you are willing to dream. For I have a plan–it is unlike another; for each one is individual to Me.

So, come to Me, all who are willing to try that which has never been done.

For I AM creative ‘always’.

Make no mistake…

I finish what hasn’t begun!

“–the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” “And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed the Lord; and he reckoned it to him as righteousness. Genesis 15:1,5-6

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless. And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face; and God said to him, “Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations. No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.” Genesis 17:-5

“By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.” Hebrews 11:11-12

“The Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah as he had promised. And Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Issac.” “Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; every one who hears will laugh over me.” And she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would suckle children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.” Genesis 21:1-3, 5-7

“I will indeed bless you, and I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore. And your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies, and by your descendants shall all the nations of the earth bless themselves, because you have obeyed my voice.” Genesis 22:17-18

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments–” Deuteronomy 7:9

“And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

“And Jesus said to him, “If you can! All things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27

“O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him, tell of all his wonderful works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice! Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his presence continually! Remember the wonderful works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered, O offspring of Abraham his servant, sons of Jacob, his chosen ones!” Psalms 105:1-6

Let Us Pray

Prayer is engaging Me in conversation with you, by initiating the conversation; it is not about reciting your list. Come to Me and, yes, with praise and thanksgiving, make your requests known, but don’t stop there and leave; let’s talk about what’s on your heart. I would like the opportunity to share My heart with you as well.

Have you ever stopped to consider that I enjoy talking to you? A conversation involves more than one person speaking.

Involve Me…

I do more than listen–

  • I speak
  • I direct
  • I teach
  • I encourage

and yes, I answer prayer.

Are you not more inclined to assist the needs of one who is your friend? When you build a friendship–relationship, a deep bond forms and you would go to great lengths to be of service to your friend.

I call you friend.

And I would, and do go to great lengths to be of service to you.

Will you reciprocate for me?

Let us discuss your heart, your life–your dreams. Let’s have a conversation, and we’ll talk about your needs and desires, your requests, your friends, and your friend’s requests and we’ll call it prayer.

And then, we’ll talk about My needs and desires and thoughts for your life, and plans, and we’ll call it conversation.

And

I’ll call  you Friend!

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 4:2

“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7

“He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend.” Proverbs 22:11

“and the scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness”; and  he was called the friend of God.” James 2:23

Star Bright

Look up Abraham, do you see the stars? So shall your descendents be. Can you number them? My Kingdom shall have no end.

You are part of that Kingdom if you said yes to My Word and received Me as your Lord and Savior. You are one of the stars that shine for Me. Your light shall never go out if you remain in My Word–basking in My Presence; you are not ashamed of the gospel, and are looking expectantly for My return.

But, stop and consider, one lone star twinkles gently in the sky; a peaceful presence that makes one smile, but many stars grouped together makes a stunning presentation. An awesome sight in the heavenlies–a path to light the way.

Forsake not the gathering together of the brethren. Your light builds off the presence of another. Encouragement and courage are found when My children are together, and I bask in the glory of My saints gathered at My feet.

You are generated from Abraham

Carry the torch…

Not just a twinkle in My eye, but ablaze for My Kingdom!

And

My Kingdom

Shall know no end.

“Arise shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3

“Thus Abraham “believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.” So you see that it is men of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” So then those who are men of faith are blessed with Abraham who had faith.” Galatians 3:6-9

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.” Galatians 3:28-29

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25

“–And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:1-3

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her vindication goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. The nations shall see your vindication, and all the kings your glory; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord will give. You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:1-3

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to  your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
