Scaling The Mountain

These times have been hard and I know you have struggled so. It has not been easy to watch you fight with each day, yet you must gain strength and know your weakness.

“I can do all things in him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

The higher climb is difficult terrain–scaling mountains you have only seen from afar in the past. Your enemy is nearer to your face when you are facing your mountain.

Speak to the mountain as you climb.

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will.” Mark 11:23-24

With each new step, speak your accomplishment; speak your decisions. Do not look down to see how far you have come until you reach the top; for you will follow what you see.

Keep looking at Me!

The higher you climb, the clearer the view. You may understand when someone relates an experience to you, but, when you climb that mountain yourself–you know!

Delight in accomplishment; celebrate the victory, but do not become prideful or you will fall. When pride comes to call, look around you at all that you have yet to accomplish–look to Me–you’re still small.

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18

“And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.” I Corinthians 13:2-3

There is more to learn.

Always more.

But what I want you to know, as you’re struggling so, you’re not failing–you are continuing to grow. Fight the good fight of faith.

Use the tools you’ve been given.

You’re nearer than you think. Often it is only the top of the mountain that peaks out of the clouds. Climb until you reach the glory and don’t look back!

“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High; and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” Psalms 50:14-15

“Show yourself in all respects a model of good deeds, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity, and sound speech that cannot be censured, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us.” Titus 2:7-8

“For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men, training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world, awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.” Titus 2:11-14

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumph, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” II Corinthians 2:14

“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalms 128:1-2

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalms 103:2-5

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:17-18

“May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!” Psalms 29:11

Victory Won

Accomplishment comes when you least expect it.

Yes, you may set out to accomplish a task and, therefore, may be expecting to see it through and you may well. But not all accomplish what they set out to do. Not all recognize true accomplishment when it happens. I look at accomplishment differently than you, for I see accomplishment from a different view. You tend to see it when a task is done; I see it through a victory won.

You see, the finish is completed first in the heart–long before you start; for you must first ‘see it‘ to finally see it through. If you cannot ‘see’ yourself accomplishing, you will never or will merely, reluctantly, begin.

So get your start in your heart, plan it through. Believe to accomplish what you thought you couldn’t do.

Set your mind to obey your heart, right from the start. For your mind will defeat you every time, that your spirit, soul and body are not in line with My Word and my plan for you.

Now you see that the accomplishment in the heart is far greater than the start, for if your heart is filled with victory, decision will be sure; for the mind, soul and body will ‘follow through’ for the spirit that is sure.

Seeing clearly to follow through, that is accomplishment–that is ‘victory won’–even before you have begun.

“In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and earthenware, and some for noble use, some for ignoble. If any one purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel for noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work.” II Timothy 2:20-21

“For it is not the man who commends himself that is accepted, but the man whom the Lord commends.” II Corinthians 10:18

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.” II Thessalonians 2:16-17

Writing Your Life

If you were to write a book of your life, chapter by chapter, what would its title be?

How about, Faith Proven?

It may not be a ‘catchy’ title to sell books, but it is how I would like you to look upon your life–as if it is already complete.

You see, that is what faith is–seeing the work already accomplished–the goal completed.

Faith Proven, means that chapter by chapter your life has increased…

  • In Faith
  • In Love
  • In Accomplishment
  • In Blessing

I could go on, but you understand. Step by step, your life is a book unfolding. As you read, My Book, you are able and enabled to write, your book, a word, a sentence, a page at a time. And as whole chapters unveil, you begin to picture your life; an understanding becomes ‘clear’, that I AM truly the author and finisher of your faith.

Master your life as it unfolds before you.

Your dedication–

To the ‘Master’ who gave you life. All rights reserved, your life preserved–for all Eternity.

Cover to cover this book will complete, the one whose faith proceeds.

For as your faith has proven, no end will be given–the final chapter, this statement of faith

To be continued it reads, no ending it needs–

Just write

A blessing you’ll be, an open book for all to see–Faith Proven!

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.”       I Peter 1:7 KJV

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 3:10

“I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places…” Ephesians 1:16-20

“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3

“And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

Waste no Time

A calling I have laid upon you, for I have formed you and fashioned you with My image in mind. Not one of failure, defeat and what if’s, but one of victory, purity and love.

I will fulfill My dreams for you, because I always finish that which I begin and I AM a God of accomplishment.

When you doubt yourself, you are doubting Me, for I AM the one forming you, molding you and shaping you. It is blasphemy to doubt your creator–pure and simple. Therefore, turn from your wicked ways and turn to the one who designed you, created you and lives within you. And accomplish that which I have set forth to do with you.

You are My child, My chosen one and I love you dearly.

Time is short and soon will be no more as you know it to be. Don’t waste it anymore!

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”  2 Tim. 2:15

“If one purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel for noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work.”  2 Tim. 2:21

“Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God and receive what is promised.”  Heb. 10:35-36

“I have made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”  Jn. 17:26
