This New Baby

I had a dream that I had a new baby. The baby was wonderful and seemed so mature that I would forget that it needed to nurse. Though it still needed that early nourishment, it would often be reluctant to nurse, when I finally remembered, causing a struggle between me and my baby.

*******************************************************************************************

I want you to understand that with each new task I bring you to, there is a process of maturing for that task.

You may even have done it before and therefore think you can skip the early stages–diving in to what you know, but there is a process in which you both must grow; you and the task grow together. Each event is new, but as you grow, there’s always more to know–bigger things to chew.

Therefore, I want you to think of it as birthing a baby; be attentive to each need; learn its subtle differences; grow with what you know, but–grow!

Don’t get complacent, thinking that you’ve ‘arrived’, for many have derailed, thinking this way.

“For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacence of fools destroys them; but he who listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of evil.” Proverbs 1:32-33

Seek to know, seek to grow and thrive with each new ‘baby’ I bring your way. For each one is alive and needs you to thrive, step by, sometimes, tedious step–

always begin this way!

“Whatever your task, work heartily as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24

“Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and the late rain.” James 5:7

“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his presence continually!” Psalms 105:4

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” Psalms 1:1-3

The Perfect Gift

Your wholeness comes from above–it is within you if I AM within.

So many are running here, running there, gathering books, seeking specialists, and then…

when all else is done, and unrest remains–then they look to Me, often with blame; yet I was the one who loved them all along.

I AM the Healer.

I created you whole, when I birthed you from My death. Every baby is born through the pathway of blood. Every human being is Born Again through the shedding of blood–Mine.

Do you see?

I gave birth to you through My death. I took your death that you may live; that you might live in a fulness that you did not have before. A life that was not right, made perfectly complete by a perfect sacrifice.

Why then, am I a last resort when you seek what you need for your life?

What you need is inside, for there you have no need. But what you need is to open the gift, before you have need, and then you will find that you have no need.

I AM the perfect gift, given to you.

Open the gift and celebrate your Birthday. Happy Birthday…

Happy Birth Day!

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.” “And from his fulness have we all received, grace upon grace.” John 1:14, 16

“Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”” John 3:3-6

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and to an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” I Peter 1:3-5

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18

“Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same nature, that through death he might destroy him who has the power of death, that is the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15

“–but when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit, which he poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:4-7

“This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only but with the water and the blood.” I John 5:6

“You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God–” I Peter 1:23

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God–not because of works, lest any man should boast” “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:8-9, 13

“–For I am the Lord, your healer.” Exodus 15:26b

“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for thou art my praise.” Jeremiah 17:14

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying ‘I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12
