Family Reunion

You had to have reason to turn your back on Israel; You had to have reason and that reason was me. You desire that all should be saved–that all should be made free. You set aside my sisters, my brothers, merely to call upon me.

“But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place to share the richness of the olive tree, do not boast over the branches. If you do boast, remember it is not you that support the root, but the root that supports you. You will say, ‘Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.’ That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast only through faith. So do not become proud, but stand in awe. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.” Romans 11:17-21

With a thankful heart I pray for those–my departed family.

Please return and see, that you may believe–receive eternity. Jesus came, He is the Savior–it is a mystery; that a tiny baby would save the world–would one day come for me.

Lord, is it not time for Israel to come home–be grafted in to thee?

They stepped aside, the sin of pride, but you can set them free. And one day soon you’ll come again–you’re coming then for me. But I will not rest until you’ve blessed the entire family.

Set them free. Join them to me–my family.

“Lest you be wise in your own conceits, I want you to understand this mystery, brethren; a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in, and so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob’; ‘and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.'” Romans 11:25-27

“Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called the uncircumcision by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands–remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby bringing the hostility to an end. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near; for through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.” Ephesians 2:11-18

“For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God the the whole earth he is called. For the Lord has called you like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your God.

For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you. In overflowing wrath for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.” Isaiah 54:5-8

“Thus says the Lord: ‘Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool; what is the house which you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? All these things my hand has made, and so all these things are mine, says the Lord. But this is the man to whom I will look, he that is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.” Isaiah 66:2

“Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7

The Reflection I See

Your ‘image’ of ‘you’ should not be from what you see in the mirror, but the reflection you see when you look into My Word.

When you ‘see’ yourself in My Word, then you will be pleased to see, and all those around you will know, that you’ve spent time with Me.

You’ll then see, that it’s not about the body or the color of your hair. Nor is it about the clothes that you wear. But the face I see, reflected in there, is the face of My Father–My Father is in there.

Come with Me and I’ll show you that each reflecting light, are lights from My Word shining in the night. But it’s from you that they shine–for all to see; the reflection of you, is their ‘inspection’ of Me. For when they look at you, they are looking to see, just what it is that they need of Me.

“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, that those who enter may see the light.” Luke 8:16

Some would not know Me–were it not for you.

Some would not love Me, had there not been love from you.

So when you look into the glass, whether deeply or in pass, take time to remember–therein is not broken, but the image of My Father emanating from you.

The Body that was broken–was broken for you.

The Word that was spoken, was spoken for you.

Why then do you criticize, what you see there ‘fore your eyes? Look instead into My Word–for therein are no lies.

Your body is just substance, the substance of the earth. Your spirit is eternal–of the greatest value and worth.

But the beauty of your face–as it shines in all My Grace, is the clear reflection of My Father; for you have your Father’s eyes. And therein lies your beauty–don’t hide it in disguise.

Shine!

“See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it does not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.” I John 3:1-3

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. In this is love perfected with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world.” I John 4:11-17

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer that forgets but a doer that acts, he shall be blessed in his doing.” James 1:22-25

“My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments and live, keep my teachings as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 7:1-3

“‘You are the light of the world.’ A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

God is faithful!!

Receive!

“–that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:16-21

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Measured Within

The true measure of a man–his stature–is measured from within. The appearance may not always be true, to you, but I see within and therein are no lies.

I know fully the make-up of a man, for the part that you cannot see is the heart–the heart I see.

You judge appearances–how can that be?

How can you judge what you cannot see?

Yes, the fruit will tell–what falls from the tree. Yet, still you’ve no right to judge, for judgement is not for thee. Do you know where he’s been; what has happened before then? Do you know his dreams or failures from when?

When you know all that I know, then you shall judge.

Will that ever be?

No, you’d best leave him to me. That is My plea–

–just leave him to Me!

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” Matthew 7:1-3

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord and one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. but grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” Ephesians 4:4-7

“And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipment of the saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ; so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceitful wiles.

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and upbuilds itself in love.” Ephesians 4:11-16

“Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 4:29-5:2

All You Need

What would you say in your last breath–what would your last words be?

Jesus Saves.

“So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.'” John 10:7-11

What if all those around you in your dying moment are saved–what would be your words?

I Love You.

Well said, for that is why I came–that is My purpose on earth. I came that all would be saved. I came that all would be loved. Announce this to the world, for there is nothing greater in life–

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18

Salvation and Love,

you cannot separate the two; one builds the other.

Think about it.

I came for you!

“–just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:27-28

“–every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, then to wait until his enemies should be made a stool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.” Hebrews 10:11-14

“–and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast our confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:21-25

“He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

Built to Last

You’ve been beaten down, but you’re not beaten!

Remember that!

Tear down all the things in your life that do not seem right, but don’t give up on the fight.

When it seems as though your life is a confusing mess–a mass of confusion–tear down until you reach Truth–rock solid.

If what is built isn’t right, tear down until it is, and build again.

Just build again.

Build from the Truth that you know; judge your life as you go, but don’t stop building. Re-construction is part of life–all must take time to fix what’s not right.

Begin again…

and again.

It may seem then, that you’re not getting anywhere, but it is one life. With each re-build you have:

  • More wisdom
  • More knowledge and understanding.
  • Your contracting skills are improved–increased.
  • Lesson learned–more is released.

The final building–without blemish.

Matured to stand the storm–less mess.

Don’t shy new construction–tear it down, to build you up!

Built to stand…

Built to last!

For we are fellow workers for God; you are God’s field, God’s building. According to the commission of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and another man is building upon it. Let each man take care how he builds upon it. For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble–each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.

If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.” I Corinthians 3:9-15

“The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of person ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.” II Peter 3:9-14

Just a Moment

You don’t know when you may touch another’s life; be it little or big, a moment or a lifetime; you may spend a moment and last a lifetime.

You’ll never know, you say. But, you will know–some day.

So spend the moment; invest it in another’s life, like it is the value of a lifetime–a lifeline. Seek to know, into the soul of one you may never know.

In a moment of a lifetime, it may just be the moment that changes their forever. You may be the key that unlocks their door to eternity.

You just may be key.

Will you do it for Me? Just a moment

For Me

“And he made from one every nation of men to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us, for ‘In him we live and move and have our being’, as even some of your poets have said, “For we are indeed his offspring.'” Acts 17:26-28

“And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent; for I am with you, and no man shall attack you to harm you; for I have many people in this city.”” Acts 18:9-10

“‘I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.'” Isaiah 42:6-7

“Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.” Colossians 4:5-6

“Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord.” Romans 12:9-11

Greater Love

Legends have come and legends have gone, but there is one thing that lasts a lifetime…Love.

You might not think that–given the current divorce rate, but the one factor that drives those to divorce is love–

for self.

Now, what are the two greatest commandments?

Love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy strength and with all thy mind.

And

Love thy neighbor as thy self.

If you would love others as much as you love yourself, you would be loving your God with all your heart. For only when a heart is turned toward God, does it love another with the love of God beyond themselves. And that kind of love, Agape Love, lasts a lifetime.

Legendary love?

It’s not a legend–it’s the Truth.

Love.

“And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered right; do this, and you will live.”” Luke 10:25-28

“But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your cloak do not withhold your coat as well. Give to every one who begs from you; and of him who takes away your goods do not ask them again. And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.” Luke 6:27-31

“We love, because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should love his brother also.” I John 4:19-21

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:9-12

Now Rest

Have you heard of rest? There are times of rest and refreshing for My children. Many think that they have failed if they are not in constant production–night and day. Even land needs to rest or it will not produce good crops.

Rest

Take the time for your body to rejuvenate; allow your mind to settle.

A vacation from work is essential for the spirit.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.” Psalms 23:1-3a

You have not failed Me when I call a ‘time out’. And you will know when I have, for just as, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me,” if I remove the power, you will find yourself against a wall every time you try to strike out.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 KJV

We are a team; we go together or we stay.

We rest.

I need you to be very attentive to My direction. We move as one, and I know what ‘we’ need to function, to lead a healthy and happy life–a life that produces fruit.

Allow the ground to rest and there will be an abundant harvest when we plant again–next time!

Now Rest!

“And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all his work which he had done in creation.” Genesis 2:2-3

“Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.” Exodus 34:21
