Learning His Love Language

A child’s life is built upon the ABC’s . . .

This is the foundation for learning the structure of words, spelling, speaking.

Every born-again child of God must learn their ABC’s . . .

Atonement

Blood

Cross

It is the foundation for your life—Eternal Life.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

All sin must be atoned for by the Blood of a sinless man—My sacrifice for thee.

Your act of faith to receive, My Blood, forever changes you to be–just as if you’d never sinned. . .

Forever to be with Me!

As simple as the ABC’s . . .

Why complicate it?

Just receive.

Come to Me as a child . . .

Accepting

Believing

Confessing

“Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark 10:15

My Love Language — the Word — I AM!

“He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities–all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” Colossians 1:15-20

“He came to his own home, and his own people received him not. But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; who were born, not of blood nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.” John 1:10-14

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

“For no human being will be justified in his sight by works of the law, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from law, although the law and the prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction; since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins; it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he justifies him who has faith in Jesus.” Romans 3:20-26

“But what does it say? The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach); because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved. The scripture says, ‘No one who believes in him will be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows his riches upon all who call upon him. For, ‘every one who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.'” Romans 10:8-13

Secrets of the Heart

Put yourself in the place of Peter. Imagine how he felt when he so wanted to give his whole heart, and yet his heart betrayed him with feelings he did not know.

In the best of times and the worst of times, we are made more aware of the truth in our heart . . .

The pressure reveals!

“As in water face reflects face, so a man’s heart reveals the man.” Proverbs 27:19 NKJV

Therefore, tend to your heart, always. Be ready in season and out; for you know not what may come.

Are you ready to give answer for what may be revealed–what is in your heart?

You are the keeper of your soul. *see note below.

Peter was surprised, but I already knew. (Matthew 26:33-35, 69:75)

You see, I don’t reveal to embarrass or shame you, but that you may know–just what it is that needs to go. Don’t wait for Me to show you the truth, as did Peter.

Fill your heart with Truth, to reveal the truth–

What needs to be?

What needs to leave?

Serve Me with your whole heart!

*(Freely attend to your soul as you would a garden, removing the weeds, tending the fruit. Each heart and soul must be tended, as unto Jesus; the “Overseer” of each soul surrendered unto Him.) (I Peter 2:25) *Note added to amplify.

“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:20-27 NKJV

“‘Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream, beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.'” Luke 6:46-49 NKJV

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:37-39

“Catch us the foxes, The little foxes that spoil the vines, For our vines have tender grapes.” Song of Solomon 2:15 NKJV

Rooted in the Cross

Prepare your heart to receive the depth of the Cross.

It is not to be taken lightly, that terrible event–the affects of which man shall never know in this generation–yet, its root remains in thee.

You see, that is the core of Christianity.

One calls themself a Christ follower; yet, that cannot be without receiving the depth of the Cross–it is the core of Me. I came to die–to extend My Life to you.

It was the plan to restore.

“You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of times for your sake. Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.” I Peter 1:18-21

I had not sinned, yet I took your sin upon Me.

I cried out, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:34)

We had never been separate before. But your sin turned Him away from Me–your sin closed the door.

My Father cannot remain with sin in His Presence.

When I took your sin upon Me, He had to turn away.

You are innocent, you are holy–the Breath of God in you!

“–then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7

But, the day you choose to sin, you turn your back on Him.

The plan is in place–it all happened at the Cross. The great exchange–I suffered for your loss.

“Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” II Corinthians 5:17-21

Now you can remain–as if you’d never sinned.

All you need do–repent, and ask Me in.

That is the start–ask Me into your heart. But there is so much more, once you open that door!

Don’t stay at the Cross, but take time to learn of it–let its root run deep into the core of you!

For at the Cross I paid the price–the Perfect Sacrifice.

Your foundation is the Cross–you need not suffer loss. Learn what that means–let those roots run deep!

The grave, it could not hold Me–I left, that you not stay!

Simply walk away.

Walk away from sin and shame. Walk away from blame. Leave your past at the grave–

My roots remain in thee!

I was lifted up at the Cross, for all the world to see. Now, lift up your devotion to Me!

My Father says, “Welcome Home!”

From the Cross–Walk Free!

“–and he said to them, ‘Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” Luke 24:46-47

Built to Last

You’ve been beaten down, but you’re not beaten!

Remember that!

Tear down all the things in your life that do not seem right, but don’t give up on the fight.

When it seems as though your life is a confusing mess–a mass of confusion–tear down until you reach Truth–rock solid.

If what is built isn’t right, tear down until it is, and build again.

Just build again.

Build from the Truth that you know; judge your life as you go, but don’t stop building. Re-construction is part of life–all must take time to fix what’s not right.

Begin again…

and again.

It may seem then, that you’re not getting anywhere, but it is one life. With each re-build you have:

  • More wisdom
  • More knowledge and understanding.
  • Your contracting skills are improved–increased.
  • Lesson learned–more is released.

The final building–without blemish.

Matured to stand the storm–less mess.

Don’t shy new construction–tear it down, to build you up!

Built to stand…

Built to last!

For we are fellow workers for God; you are God’s field, God’s building. According to the commission of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and another man is building upon it. Let each man take care how he builds upon it. For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble–each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.

If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.” I Corinthians 3:9-15

“The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of person ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.” II Peter 3:9-14

Love Rules!

Love must rule, for when all else fails, love never does. It is the matter of the heart and all that matters. Even when a house is built on a foundation of the rock, if it then holds no love, it will not stand.

Think of love as the mortar for your bricks. Every brick you lay, as you grow along the way, must be placed in love or all else will be misplaced.

For I AM Love

And even if you call upon Me to be your foundation–the Rock on which you stand, if you then build your life with wood, hay and stubble–if you continue on your own…

all will be lost–

all shall burn.

Only that formed on love, shall remain.

For I AM Love

A house divided cannot stand. Do you see? Spirit and flesh are at war–

Love triumphs and will gain you victory!

Antagonism and the sin nature, are like a constant drip. An irritation that seeps into the structure, destroying your house. There are no outside forces needed and no one to blame, for if you continue on this way, you will destroy yourself, and that would be a shame.

It would be so very easy if you would turn your life around

I’ve already done the hard part

I’ve already laid the ground.

Look to me with uplifted hands

we’ll work to make this right. For all you really need is love, to seal this house up tight!

Let Me change you on the inside

there’s no one looking in to see. We will do this privately, until you reveal the work I’ve wrought in thee.

A Master Builder begins at the base of the building, he chooses to reface–Inside out is how it is done–a work to find your place.

The Kingdom of God is where love abounds, and flesh has no further rule.

I AM Jesus–I AM Love

Invite Me in, for if in you I remain…

in you I will Reign and–

Love will Rule!

“For we are fellow workers for God; you are God’s field, God’s building. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If any one destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and that temple you are.” I Corinthians 3:9-17

“And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.” Mark 3:25

“So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.” “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.” Romans 7:21, 24-25

“And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.” Jeremiah 18:4

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1-2

“Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” I Corinthians 13:4-7

“Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” Romans 13:10

“And this is love, that we follow his commandments; this is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you follow love.” II John 6

Prove Strong

Your proving ground is not an easy experience and it is not meant to be. It is your time of work; a time to use what you know and to test the foundation of your house for cracks–faults that if not found now, could cause you great harm down the road when I will use you in a much greater capacity.

Do not seek to be free of the proving stage and do not run from it. Your acceptance will define your maturity level and enable you to grow. Trust Me in this. I will leave you in this for a season, but the length of time lies solely up to you and how you handle this. It’s not about punishment, so don’t think of it as such, but realize that it is all for good; all for growth and to refine you.

And

When you see clearly…

Mentor those I send your way…

In a gentle and kindly way–as you would have someone mentor you.

Your task is at hand

Prove Strong

I AM with you!

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which comes upon you to prove you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice in so far as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.” I Peter 4:12

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?–unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” II Corinthians 13:5

“Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and my mind. For thy steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to thee.” Psalms 26:2-3

“Search me, O God and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Psalms 139:23-24

“Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
