Turn on the Light Please

There’s darkness all around–deep darkness. Yet, many do not notice, cannot discern, the cause or purpose that this might be.

“But the wicked walk in thick darkness, like those who travel in fog, and yet don’t have a clue why they keep stumbling!” Proverbs 4:19 TPT

What reason?

The gross magnitude of sin threatens to consume. Brave is the one praying in the dark–the cold, the night.

Turn on the light!

What is the purpose?

Time is running short–for all will see the Glory.

The purpose of the enemy is to push back the Light, but he has no righteousness in him. Therefore, he has no power to perform. He creates an illusion; for if he can persuade you to accept a lie, you hand him power. For it is Light–Truth that overcomes darkness, all else is a lie.

Do not hide the Truth–I AM!

Shine!

“Do not detour into darkness or even set foot on that path. Stay away from it; don’t even go there! For troublemakers are restless if they are not involved in evil. They are not satisfied until they have brought someone harm. They feed on darkness and drink until they’re drunk on the wine of wickedness. But the lovers of God walk on the highway of light, and their way shines brighter and brighter until they bring forth the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:14-18 TPT

“For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us–the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ. We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.” II Corinthians 4:6-7 TPT

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3

“Light rises in the darkness for the upright; the Lord is gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered for ever. He is not afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.” Psalms 112:4-7

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:17-18

Be Glorified

The hope that is within you is the same hope that raised Christ from the dead. Hope is desire–mixed with the Word, becomes faith–that births spiritual energy–the life of God within you–manifests to the Glory of God! It all begins with hope, but if hope is not built upon it remains as hope and nothing more. The end is never accomplished if the foundation is not built upon.

Many Christians never move beyond the foundation of hope. They hope they are saved. They never look into the perfect law of liberty. their eyes never feed on My Word. Their ears hear very little of My Word and yet they hope. What basis do they have to anchor that hope? They can’t know for sure if they are even saved, because they choose to remain ignorant to My Word that would be their anchor secure of truth. It is a futile practice that repeats over and over throughout the generations.

“Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.”  Rom.  5:1-5

“May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”  Col.   1:11-14
