The Letter

This week has been both disheartening (our state elections) and exhilarating (the letter). I continue to pray that hearts will turn and realize how truly precious the gift of life is.

May the blinders come off and God’s Mercy, Forgiveness and Comfort come to those who awaken to the Truth.

On a good note, Monday I received my very first letter from a prisoner, regarding my book. It was a big day, because it was the same day that my approval copy of the new book came in the mail as well. Monday is also the day I serve the homeless and they were just so happy. One man commented, “Rachel Ray would LOVE this!” Another said, “I feel like I’m at the Ritz.”

I do so love being a part of these wonderful peoples’ lives!

It blesses my heart so, to be able to bring love and comfort to their day and a delicious homemade meal. I look forward to Monday all week!

How rare is that for someone to look forward to Monday???

So I have been looking for this letter to come, with expectancy, and I wasn’t disappointed.

He wrote to tell me that he received the book from the Prison Book Project, the ministry that is sending all my books out to prison systems, jails and rehab centers all over the country. He states he didn’t ask for it, because he didn’t know anything about me, but was just given the book. The letter is regarding, “His Voice in My Heart.” This book is the first in a three volume series, the third of which should be out by mid-December.

The “His Voice in My Heart” series is written with prisoners in mind, but they are for anyone. We all have issues in life that need healing, things to overcome and they help one to do just that. They all contain messages spoken from the heart of God, many amazing true testimonies, and are filled with scripture to verify the messages. His messages are like fresh bread; not meant to replace the Word, but to bring it in closer in application to your life.

The letter states:

“When I first got your book I looked at a few pages and said, ok I’m not reading this.”  He continues by stating that a second time he picked it up and still put it down. Below are direct quote excepts from the letter, highlights that have blessed my heart!

“But for the next time I picked up the book and started reading it I couldn’t put it down. I really got into the book and don’t understand why I did but the book spoke to me in a lot of ways and in ways that I can change myself. It is a really good book and you put some good stories in it.”

“When I get home I have to check out your other books and see what they are about.”

“I don’t know what made me pick it up again and not only that but couldn’t put it down and its almost like what you said about praying for the lady at work and you said it wasn’t the right time to pray for her but at the right time you did. Well I feel the same way about the book. It was God that done everything. But I want to thank you again for the book that I was reading. I hope to read more of them.”

“I hope that God keeps blessing you and your family and hope that maybe I can help someone like your book did for me.”

So you can imagine, reader, that I had a hard time going to sleep that night. This one letter represents the heart of what I do and the reason for it all!

I jokingly had told my postmaster that he gave me a defective mailbox. I have been paying for it for two years, to be able to have a mailbox for those I write for; to give them the ability to express what God has done in their lives. Faithfully, day after day, I’ve been checking that box with expectancy. Well, reader, it came! I can’t begin to describe how exciting it was to finally see it there, leaning sideways in my box, after such a long wait. It was a moment I will carry in my heart–it was worth it all!

Thank you, my friend, for the letter! You are one that is hidden from society, but not hidden from God!

Readers, please pray for him that nothing snatch the newly-formed seed from his heart. Please pray for all those reading my books that God will be able to reach them, where no one else can. This is His work, I simply take dictation, I work very hard, but it is the joy of my heart to work for HIM!

All Glory be to God!

A big thank you to my publisher as well, for generously allowing this opportunity for donators to receive a tax deduction. She handles all donations, sending orders to the printer who sends them directly to Prison Book Project. Many thanks to Cindy, of “Nation of Women Publishing” for your endless expertise and patience with me!

Thank you to Joyce, and her volunteers of Prison Book Project, for placing all of my books!

Do you know that an individual cannot send books to a prison? They must come from a publisher, an established book-placing ministry, such as Prison Book Project, or Barnes & Noble and Amazon direct. That is the world we live in. Books were being laced with drugs and many have died as a result of it. A generous financial donation to them would help them to continue to fill this great need for quality, life-giving books!

How much more our great need for Jesus!

Thank you for your kindness and generous help to this ministry!

I have poured every cent received, into books to send out, along with all I can of my own. I trust the Lord will greatly bless you in return!

“Then the King will turn to those on his right and say, ‘You have a special place in my Father’s heart. Come and experience the full inheritance of the kingdom realm that has been destined for you from before the foundation of the world! For when you saw me hungry, you fed me. When you found me thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I had no place to stay, you invited me in, and when I was poorly clothed, you covered me. When I was sick, you tenderly cared for me, and when I was in prison you visited me.’ Then the godly will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty and give you food and something to drink? When did we see you with no place to stay and invite you in? When did we see you poorly clothed and cover you? When did we see you sick and tenderly care for you, or in prison and visit you? ‘And the King will answer them, ‘Don’t you know? When you cared for one of the least important of these my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you demonstrated love for me.'” Matthew 25-34-40 TPT

Oh, the Blunder

I was shocked the other day to notice a major mistake in my latest book, “His Voice in My Heart, the Journey.” My apologies to all the baseball fans out there; especially to the “Detroit Tigers,” for my erroneously calling “Tiger Stadium” “Shea Stadium” in the testimony titled, “The Baseball” on page 76.

Aaarg!

I have no answers, except that, New York, has been in my prayers a lot during this terrible time; but the testimony happened in my own home-state, so I just don’t know how I managed to do that!

Unfortunately I can’t fix what’s been printed, but my publisher will change it for the next printing. Thank you for your understanding. It was definitely an unintentional blunder!

Cutting Edge or Cutting a Hedge?

Some are following like scissors–you are closed, you are open, closed, then open; but moving forward in this way only cuts ‘your’ path, it is not following Mine.

To follow ‘like scissors,’ it is your hand that controls, your mind that plans, and I AM not in the project.

Shake the scissors off–set them down.

You don’t need to ‘cut’ a path, for that is forging through–it is toil and I AM not in it.

Lay it down–follow Me.

Be ‘open’ to My plan for your life. . .

I will give you a Key, it doesn’t include strife!

Follow Love, for I AM–

follow Me!

“Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1-2

“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17

“The plans of the mind belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Every one who is arrogant is an abomination to the Lord, be assured, he will not go unpunished. By loyalty and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord a man avoids evil. When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:1-7

Faith in a Faithful God

Hello Reader, it’s so good to see you again. I have missed you.

It has been a very different year for me, and I wish I could say that I understand it all, but that would not be true. I live by faith that I will grow more and more in understanding every day.

The Lord is GOOD!

I was working on my next book; the third in the, “His Voice in My Heart” series, when the Lord called a rest. He simply said, “Why don’t you think more toward spring, rather than Christmas?” “Ok, sure.” So, I thought He wanted me to take it at a slower pace and with that in mind, I kept dabbling at it. He has a way of making His point, when we just don’t seem to get it; and His ‘way’ of choice was to pull the anointing–much like turning out the light. I could either sit there in the dark or take the hint. Either way, I will not be writing without Him–not by ability, or by choice!

Understand, this is just not my work!

This “rest” has taken me through some growing pains, but it was when I embraced it all, and said to the Lord, “Seasons change and this will too; don’t let me miss what I am to learn in this!” That was the moment that things began to turn.

Abide!

So as I emerge with an inkling that I will soon be writing that book again, the Lord has given me a testimony to share . . .

Back when I was writing, I was getting a nudge in my heart that I would be needing a new computer. As it seemed to be working fine, except for the keyboard getting a little glitchy and battery showing it’s age, I sort of shelved the nudge for later. Soon after, He stopped my writing. My computer became just a source to connect to work and check on accounts; so all the more I wasn’t looking into replacing it.

One day, I wasn’t even sitting at my computer, but a cup of coffee was; and as I fussed with stuff nearby, somehow I managed to slap that cup of coffee all over the keyboard of my laptop. Rushing it to the laptop hospital, that night, it came to me again about getting a new computer; though the other one was working except for the keyboard. So, I started looking online and the next day, locally, asked to see an open box computer that said “fair condition.” The outside of the box declared scratches and dents, missing cords, pen and paperwork. However, I was in a hurry and didn’t read the statement sticker on the box. I asked to see the computer itself and when the salesman unboxed it, neither of us could find a scratch on it. Being in a hurry, I asked him if it had the cord, and He replied, “Yes.” Not checking to confirm, but trusting what he said, I bought it–big mistake! I got home later and found that it not only didn’t have the pen and paperwork, but no cords; nothing but the computer itself. I took the whole box apart and found that it was just as the sticker stated.

How could I be so irresponsible?

I looked up all the parts that I was missing and found that it would cost close to $250 to replace them. I decided to just take it all back and order a new one the next day. It was disappointing, because I thought I was getting a good deal.

The next morning I was about to go there, first thing, when the Lord spoke to me to look in the box. I obeyed, but reminded the Lord that I had taken everything out of that box, even the little false bottom box that holds the computer up higher in the box, but there was nothing. He must have smiled at that, because when I pulled out that little black box from the bottom, this time it was heavy! There, in that box, were the cord, the pen and the instructions. Everything that the sticker on the box declared missing–all were new, still in wrapping.

I rejoiced!

I was especially glad, because they called to say they couldn’t get the keyboard for my computer and told me to come and get my laptop while they searched for one. They sent me home with a loaner USB keyboard, that I used to transfer all my stuff to a USB storage and then to the new computer. I used the old laptop for two weeks, even loaded Photoshop on it and used it, which is a big file. In two weeks time they called to say they got the keyboard and I took the laptop in for them to replace the keyboard. After a weeks vacation, I called to ask about my computer only to hear that they couldn’t even boot it up. I was shocked. It had been working just fine! He said he would continue to work on it, but said someone must have spilled something on it. I told him “Yeah, I told you that when I took it in.” So I had my new computer and wasn’t in a hurry, but hoped they could fix it as the Photo Shop is now incompatible with the new technology in my computer.

In the meantime, I was enjoying my new computer so much, and was careful not to eat near it. One day however, I just set a bowl of cereal down by it, to move my computer out of the way, and somehow history repeated itself and I slapped that bowl of cereal all over my new computer! Oh no, not again! I called immediately, an hour before they closed, and begged him to open the computer and dry it out right away. The keyboard wasn’t working, the video wouldn’t play and other things were scrambling fast. He agreed and I rushed it to the laptop hospital to share a room right next to my other computer. How could this be happening??

I wanted to stay to hear the verdict, but they wouldn’t let me hang around. I went home with my heart heavy and mind whirling; so very mad at myself for not learning the lesson the first time! Pulling into my driveway, I got out to get the mail. Right then, the Lord spoke, strong, right from my chest. “Your computer is going to be all right.” He said it twice. I expect He wanted to confirm it because I was so upset. It was so clearly His Voice.

Clinging to those words, I waited.

It came to me, that weekend, about what had happened with my other computer. In revelation, I knew that they didn’t open and clean it when I first took it in. In fact, it came to me, that they didn’t open it at all until they went to replace the keyboard. I decided right then to give it to the Lord. As hard as it is to lose a working computer, I felt that I needed to let it go and be thankful for the new one, that He said would be ok.

When the guy called to tell me the computer was working, but the old one still was not, I point-blank, but without emotion, stated that he didn’t open it to dry it out. He said he did and cleaned it too. To which I replied, “Yes, but you didn’t do that when I first took it in, did you?” He admitted that he hadn’t and we both knew that was why it had stopped working. It had ruined the motherboard.

When I went in for my computer, I took him my books and thanked him for saving my computer; explaining that I couldn’t write the next book without it. I got the computer home and found the face recognition wasn’t working. Taking it back in, two guys looked it over. The webcam and camera no longer worked. The whole screen would have to be replaced or get an accessory webcam. I don’t use cam, except for face recognition, and so I took it home; sad that it was no longer perfect, but grateful that it worked! It was a small price to pay. That night though, I prayed and asked the Lord to fix it for me. He can do anything. I repented for not learning my lesson and asked if He would make it perfect again so it wouldn’t remind me every time I used it of how foolish I had been.

The next morning, my laptop worked perfectly–facial recognition and all!

I expect that if I had come down hard on the computer guy for his mistake, that God wouldn’t have fixed my mistake. The best part of this whole story is that when I was pulling into the computer hospital to get my laptop back, I got a call from an ex-prisoner, that the Lord had led me to at a coffee shop; a whole ‘nuther story in itself! He has been reading my books and he called to say he is halfway through the first “His Voice in My Heart” and plans to read it all over again before he moves on to the next. He was so excited and, my friends, this is what it is all about!

I write for him.

I write for HIM!

A Lifetime of Devotion

It is interesting to me that on this commemorative day, June 19th, a most important day of freedom, my parents chose to renounce their independence–committing their lives to each other.

I am thankful for both!

Thankful, the slaves were finally freed from an atrocity that should never have been. Thankful, that my parents made a commitment that has lasted a lifetime!

I honor both celebrations this day, in much thankfulness to God!

My latest book, “His Voice in My Heart the Journey,” is dedicated to my parents, Tom and Grace Bloxsom. In this dedication, I wrote that they are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this year. I was mistaken–should have done the math! This year my parents are actually celebrating their 72nd year of commitment and devotion to each other. A rare feat these days! I commend them and give thanks to God for giving them this strong foundation of tenacity and love for each other.

My dad, drew strength from strong, deep roots. His parents, Ottie and Addie Bloxsom (yes those are their real names and not nicknames or shortened) maintained the same devotion and commitment to each other until death. These same roots carried into a lifetime family business.

My brother, along with my cousin’s son are still maintaining Bloxsom Roofing Company; a business my grandfather started with his four sons back in 1925. My dad was just 12 years old when he began his lifetime career in roofing. Two of my brothers, cousins, and a second cousin all committed their life’s work to this company as well. It is a company built on a strong foundation of honesty, integrity, and hard work . . .

In just four years, Bloxsom Roofing, will be 100 years old!

Still going strong. Still based on integrity, honesty and hard work. I honor my grandfather, grandmother, dad and mom, who’ve lived a lifetime of strong values.

I honor my brothers and cousins (male and female) who worked hard, and continue to carry the baton–long after my grandfather, uncles passed and my dad retired.

I honor the Lord, their True Foundation, Jesus Christ, the Cornerstone.

Thank you, Mom and Dad! May you live out the remainder of your life in peace and contentment. May you find joy and blessing in every day!

Happy 72nd Anniversary!

I love you forever

A fellow blogger, Mr. Teague McKamey, author of the blog “A Voice of One,” has recently posted a review of two of my books, “Comfort in the Challenge” and “His Voice in My Heart.” He has been a follower of my blog for several years and one of the rare few that I follow as well. There are many, many good blogs out there, but I rarely follow; simply because I don’t have the time to spare. However, I was intrigued with the multi-faceted talents of Teague McKamey.

What I have learned over the years is that, not only is he a family man, enjoying a wife and two children, but he is a songwriter, singer, and guitar player; a Bible teacher, preacher, poet, and published author. He is active in his church and maintains a blog; displaying a myriad of thought-provoking subjects, contemplation of ideas, thoughts and inspiration. Yet, if that isn’t enough, I just learned through Teague’s review that he is a Social Worker by trade. I expect that I cannot do justice to this man’s inquiring mind, so why don’t you inquire for yourself and get to know him. Click the link below to read the full review, and while you’re there–take a look around!

https://thevoiceofone.org/2021/04/29/his-voice-in-my-heart/

Thank you, Teague, for your thoughtful and wonderful review of my books. In it, you have written my heart, greatly honored the Lord; and you witness in your spirit, the Holy Spirit, confirming that this work is truly not from me but from Him! I so appreciate how well you understand that, and how beautifully you have expressed it to the world.

Several other readers have provided heart-felt, encouraging reviews of my books. You may read them posted on my publisher’s website by clicking the (Home) link below and searching out each book under shop or author. Thank you, everyone, that has taken the time to read my books and express your experience of them. It is helpful to those interested in purchasing and a great blessing to me! In taking the time to review, you are honoring the Lord and giving support to His work. May the Lord bless you, abundantly, in return–ALL Glory be to God!

Having Not a Tare in the World!

When it seems as though there are traps set for you at every turn, remember this: I have allowed the tares to remain with the wheat until the very end.

I will not take those who oppose you out from your midst; but I teach you how to step lightly around the snares the enemy would set for you.

Consider this: It is not always your enemy, but your own emotions that get in the way of progress. If it seems as though you stumble, when you find agitation confronting you–run to peace!

Come and Abide.

Look within and face your feelings–don’t run from them.

You are LOVED–remember that!

Come and dine.

Those traps the enemy has placed for you, you’ll find are rooted in deception. Check for an open door. If you find you have gotten out of love, been complaining, or otherwise not operating in the fruit of the Spirit, turn it around . . .

Turn and look at Me.

All is well!

“Look how the wicked conceive their evil schemes. They go into labor with their lies and give birth to trouble. They dig a pit for others to fall into, not knowing that they will be the very ones who will fall into their own pit of failure. For you, God, will see to it that every pit-digger who works to trap and harm others will be trapped and harmed by his own treachery.  But I will give all my thanks to you, Lord, for you make everything right in the end. I will sing my highest praise to the God of the Highest Place!” Psalms 7:14-17 TPT

“And the servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then has it weeds?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ But he said, ‘No; lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.'” Matthew 13:27-30

“–And his disciples came to him, saying, ‘Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.’ He answered, ‘He who sows the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.” Matthew 13:36-43

“Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, but I do not swerve from thy testimonies.” Psalms 119:157

“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” Psalms 105:4 NIV

His Voice is Protection

Last week I was stopped at a light, second in line, behind a pickup truck. The bed of the truck had a load of heavy steel of some sort. I don’t know what it was but it looked thick and heavy and definitely not aluminum.

I didn’t have much time to reach my destination and would likely have been in an impatient hurry, but I was having a conversation with the Lord. This is so important because, in that moment, I was relaxed and connected when the light turned green and–

I heard the command, “don’t move!”

I didn’t take time to think about it or wonder, I just didn’t move and it felt as if a protective hand was holding me back. Amazingly, the cars behind me didn’t beep their horns; as often happens when people are not seeing you respond to the light. The pickup truck ahead of me did move however, and must have hit the gas pretty hard. He was under the light, just a few feet away, when the entire contents of his truck bed came flying out–straight out the back, every single piece!

When relating this event to a few people, some have made the comments, “That must have been scary.” and, “That sounds harrowing!” That would have been my natural reaction, had I not been ‘connected’ and heard His Voice. As it was, I heard, obeyed, and was safe. Had I moved, my car would have been totaled and there might have been a quick ride to the hospital. In His Presence is perfect peace and I remained there, totally unharmed.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Maneuvering my car carefully around the mess, I gave the guy a sympathetic smile and a little wave and drove on to my appointment. He looked pretty embarrassed. Well, he should have been! He really had no business driving around with a big heavy load like that and no tail gate–not even any tie-downs–what was he thinking??? I know what I was thinking, thank you Holy Spirit! Thank you for warning me, and keeping me out of danger!

I am excited to announce that this week my publisher has begun the formatting and final editing process of the next, “His Voice in My Heart” book. Those who have followed right along, know this book has been in process; but it was going to be called “His Voice in My Heart, Volume II.” Well, ‘His Voice in my heart’ changed the title! In fact He changed the two-book set to three. When the third book is ready to reveal, I will tell you just how the Lord guided me in these changes.

I hope you can understand that this is not my work. It has been supernatural every step of the way. I am always amazed and in awe of the Lord’s incredible love for the people He created; and His great desire to heal the human heart. He comforts the brokenhearted and gathers them into His arms. He leads each one out of despair and into the abundant life, that He has prepared.

How wonderful our God is–I am so in awe of Him!

I expect the printing to take place in a month or (two) at the most. Please pray and ask if the Lord would have you join in helping this ministry to reach the brokenhearted, lost and alone. All the books are being distributed free of charge to those in prisons, jails, rehabs and to the homeless. I am especially excited in that, recently, some of the homeless have been asking for the books. They have been very excited about them. It appears the word is getting around, I am so thankful!

Praise the Lord!

“‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'” Matthew 25:37-40

Come Away My Beloved

I ask . . . and you comply.

But, do you know — that you are very dry?

You used to come running . . . with arms held open wide.

You used to linger . . . when I was by your side.

Many long, for time to spend with Me . . . You seem distant, unaware of My plea.

Hearken to Me, as I, in turn, listen to you . . . But, there is so much more, in store, for you!

We used to be close . . . We used to be quiet together . . . Can you tell Me, why the separation?

When did it start?

Why did we part?

Come running to Me — with arms held open wide.

I long to be — right there by your side.

We, truly, never do part . . . but, I want your heart!

Do you love Me?

Show Me.

Spend time with Me . . . as I long to spend time with you!

That is My plea . . .

Spend time with Me!

“Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to a higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.” “You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.” Song of Songs 2:13, 15, TPT

Reflection Direction, add Salt

There’s fire that burns within–

This is a new chapter in your life, and yet there is much of the old that carries through–as seasoned wine–it is wisdom learned. So, embrace the new but weigh the old, all are good to prepare you for what’s ahead.

You will flourish if you look to Me for guidance, and keep a check on your heart; it tends to wane if there is not fresh activity, but rest is necessary. Take time to be calm and replenish–stay in peace.

This season can be volatile, especially, if you focus on the events taking place in the world. It is important to be informed, but what are you feeding on? Will it bring life or speak death to your spirit?

Balance is imperative

My Word is your plumb-line.

Connect with those of like-faith, but do not neglect to be among those you don’t agree with. You are a light for them to see–in you, they see Me.

Be You!

Be genuine and leave their hearts to Me. It is not for you to change and rearrange–that is My place–I AM the One they must face.

“As for the man who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not for disputes over opinions.” Romans 14:1

“Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 15:7

So, you want to be about My business . . .

Begin by asking yourself this question . . . When they see you, do they see Me?

Who are they? —Everyone you see–they’re looking back at Me. I dwell within

Show them I AM!

“Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.” Colossians 4:5-6

“So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ.” Romans 10:17

“Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 4:29-5:1-2

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

Dressed for Success!

What is appropriate for this season?

As you know, they are not all alike.

Just as you wouldn’t wear Capri-style pants in the cold of winter, you have a new ‘dress code’ for this ‘new’ season. This ‘new season’ requires a more substantial appearance. I AM referring to your ‘stance’ in the Spiritual Kingdom.

“But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, for ever and ever.” Daniel 7:18

So many of My people–followers, believers, live as though this Kingdom is apart from them. Whereas, I expect it to be a part of them. It is necessary to carry ‘the Kingdom’ in your heart, everywhere you go; for where you are, there I AM–if indeed I dwell within you; for I AM the Kingdom, and therefore, the Kingdom should emanate from you and surround you wherever you go.

“Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, he answered them, ‘The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Lo, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.'” Luke 17:20-21

Where you are, I AM.

Do you understand then, that you are mighty in battle–a warrior in the Spirit-realm; while at the same time emitting a sweet aroma to those around you?

You fight not in the flesh–it is the Kingdom. So don’t wear your Capri’s in the wintertime; though, that would surely cause others to wonder. No, take your stance in the Kingdom, appropriately dressed–for the season!

It is fierce–it is sweet.

It is, I AM!

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” Ephesians 6:10-18

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumph, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many peddlers of God’s word; but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.” II Corinthians 2:14-17

“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:11-14
