A Sign of Birth

A week or two ago I had a very clear dream. I rarely dream but this was like a vision. Several people were gathered, looking at a pool of water on the floor. I could see questioning looks on their faces and some expressed their thoughts by asking, “What is it?”

I recognized what it was and declared to them. “It is the amniotic fluid, the water has broken.” “God is about to birth forth His plan and purpose.” “The long wait is nearly over.”

“Thus says the Lord: ‘Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool; what is the house which you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? All these things my hand has made, and so all these things are mine, says the Lord. but this is the man to whom I will look, he that is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.'” Isaiah 66:1-2

“Hear the word of the Lord you who tremble at his word; ‘Your brethren who hate you and cast you out for my name’s sake have said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy; but it is they who shall be put to shame.'”  ‘Hark, an uproar from the city!  A voice from the temple! The voice of the Lord, rendering recompense to his enemies!’

‘Before she was in labor she gave birth; before her pain came upon her she was delivered of a son.’ Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her sons. Shall I bring to the birth and not cause to bring forth? says the Lord; shall I who cause to bring forth, shut the womb? says your God, Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her in joy, all you who mourn over her; that you may suck and be satisfied with her consoling breasts; that you may drink deeply with delight from the abundance of her glory.”

For thus says the Lord; Behold, I will extend prosperity to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream; and you shall suck, you shall be carried upon her hip,  and dandled upon her knees, as one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice; your bones shall flourish like the grass; and it shall be known that the hand of the Lord is with his servants, and his indignation is against his enemies.” Isaiah 66:5-14

Jesus Is Alive!

“Now after the sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the sepulchre.

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.

But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. Lo, I have told you.’

So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and said, ‘Hail!’ And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.

Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.'” Matthew 28:1-10

“Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.'” Matthew 28:18-20

Not Merely Hear

Why do you call Me Lord and do not do the things that I tell you?

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I tell you?” Luke 6:46

Am I truly your Lord?

Who has a servant that hears instruction, only to walk away and never do what he is told. Would he last long as a servant? No, he would be cast out. I AM merciful, patient and kind, but I can be angry and discipline too.

“The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents of his mind. In the latter days you will understand this.” Jeremiah 30:24

A parent must discipline a child to train him in the way he should go, otherwise he would grow to hate the child; as the child grows to be a man and neither understands, that lack of discipline causes ruin.

“He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.” Proverbs 13:24

“Discipline your son while there is hope; do not set your heart on his destruction.” Proverbs 19:18

The man that never grew–remains a child–it’s true…

For he carries no honor, respect inside and to Me he doesn’t abide. He has no guide, for he listened, but did not hear; he heard, but did not follow.

“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.” Proverbs 12:1

Call upon Me while I AM here. Listen and do not merely hear. For discipline is your key, if you truly want to be set free.

Follow Me

“And have you forgotten the exhortation which addresses you as sons?–

‘My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage when you are punished by him. For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.’ It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers to discipline us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time at their pleasure, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness.

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant; later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:5-11

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.” Proverbs 19:20-21

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord, and not do what I tell you? Every one who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like; he is like a man building a house, who dug deep, and laid the foundation upon rock; and when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it had been well built.

But he who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:46-49

“He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.” Matthew 10:39

“He who despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who respects the commandment will be rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death.” Proverbs 13:13-14

“Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms 30:4-5

Sittin on a Log

If I could just see to get that log out of my eye, I am confident that I will find that my brother doesn’t have the speck that I thought he had–it is merely the shadow of my own log.

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:3-5

Why can’t I seem to get that log out?

I think my fingers are too big, or pointed in the wrong direction. I will look to the Word. I am sure that therein is the tool to remove the log from my eye.

And when I’ve got that log out, I will see clearly to love my neighbor as myself; for I am certain to be more loveable then!

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

Exhale to Breathe

An empty heart is quiet and feels nothing–as if numb. You think you cannot go on and you really don’t care anymore for you are weary–spent.

There is so much hope for you, for you are in the best position to be filled!

For there is room for Me.

You see, when one is casting about–struggling with feelings, thoughts and emotions, I AM just more noise in the midst of their chaos.

I lead My sheep beside still waters that they may drink.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.” Psalms 23:1-2

You cannot drink in the midst of your struggle. You must be calmed, quieted. For you to be filled, I must be welcomed–invited.

Empty out that I may come in.

Releasing all the turmoil, struggles and fears to immediately receive My Peace, Comfort, and Hope is like exhaling to breathe again.

Fresh Air–No more despair.

The exchange that must be led by you.

For I do not force Myself upon you; I wait for you to realize that you need Me. I lead you to a quiet place, then offer you a drink.

“As a hart longs for flowing streams, so longs my soul for thee, O God.” Psalms 42:1

Fresh water–the substance of life; It is and–

I AM

“How precious is thy steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge in the shadow of thy wings. They feast on the abundance of thy house, and thou givest them drink from the river of thy delights. For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light do we see light.” Psalms 36:7-9

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10

“Teach me thy way, O Lord, that I may walk in thy truth; unite my heart to fear thy name. I give thanks to thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify thy name for ever.

For great is thy steadfast love toward me; thou hast delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.” Psalms 86:11-13

Royal Destiny

There is a great stirring of My people across the land; an agitated enemy arising to face those who serve the Lamb in a final attempt to bring fear and destruction. Those who know My Word have no fear–their destination is clear and they will not be thwarted nor derailed.

This is not a time for a child to continue on milk and soft foods.

You must be weaned quickly for, as the days grow colder, the chill in the air foretells of an increasing coldness in the hearts of man.

“And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:12-14

The time has come for sides to be drawn.

Intermingling will not be tolerated, for as the days of the times wax shorter, it is expedient that all declare allegiance to the God they serve, or it will be the ‘god’ they serve. A somber note for a generation adept at avoiding the Truth.

Salt is good, but if it has lost it’s saltiness, of what use is it but to be thrown out and trampled on by men.

“You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.” Matthew 5:13

You must find your place; be seasoned in Grace, as these latter days wind to an end.

“Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.” Colossians 4:5-6

But you, My friend, are hidden from My Face–the wrath that must take place–the judgment to come upon all. For those who have found their place, set apart from the human race, are royal destiny awaiting the Throne.

“Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the generals and the rich and the strong, and every one, slave and free, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand before it?'” Revelation 6:15-17

Take a side–choose to abide.

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another; the Lord heeded and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and thought on his name. ‘They shall be mine, says the Lord of host, my special possession on the day when I act, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.” Malachi 3:16-18

“‘For behold, the day comes burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 4:1-3

“But you are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.” I Thessalonians 5:4-6

“For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we wake or sleep we might live with him.” I Thessalonians 5:9-10

“And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that every one who does right is born of him.” I John 2:28-29

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'” Psalms 91:1-2

“Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” Psalms 91:14-16

Faithful to Completion

A misstep is not a lost step; simply look back and see where you missed it; You are aware of what you were told to do. There are times when it may be too late, but if you find the account still echoing in your heart, then seek Me to see it through.

Often I’ll give a task to one, but if it isn’t done, I will find another.

One that is willing.

“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may accomplish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

Yes, you are busy and things get in your way, but I have work to be done and will continue to seek until I find someone who will accomplish the task I ask.

You may think there’s another day, but you will stay where you’re at until you complete the assignments given.

Faithfulness brings more.

“From the fruit of his words a man is satisfied with good, and the work of a man’s hand comes back to him.” Proverbs 12:14

Likewise, more brings growth and maturity…

you decide.

You are the one making the choice to stay or grow. I’ll find another if your answer is no. But I’d like it to be you. Will you choose? If you choose to agree, we will proceed and we will see it through to completion.

We will see it through!

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 3:10

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.” Proverbs 19:20-21

“What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? So faith by itself, if it has not works, is dead. But some one will say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.” James 2:14-18

“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalms 128:1-2

“–‘Do not be afraid; henceforth you will be catching men.’ And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.” Luke 5:10b-11

“A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Our Special Song

The posture of your heart should be ready,

for you know not what hour I might come.

Your listening ear should be ready,

for you know not when I might speak.

You see I AM always ‘ready’ for you. There is never a time when I AM too busy to listen; you have My full attention at all times.

“But if one loves God, one is known by him.” I Corinthians 8:3

“The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry.” Psalms 34:15

In any given day you are flooded with information, facts, Truth, lies, misconstrued information–all to be sorted before the end of your day.

But I AM the quiet one amidst the noise.

  • The voice that never wavers.
  • Truth that never wanes.

Get to your quiet place, cast aside all the weights. Spend time with Me, that My Peace may settle you and when you are settled–we will begin.

For ‘our’ day begins when we are in tune. And that song comes when we take the time to commune. Our Song–like no other.

Much like your fingerprint that’s unique only to you, we have a footprint unique to us two; when you walk in step with Me.

“If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25

So let’s walk.

There are purposes I’ve planned for you that I’ve planned for no other–just as unique to you as your fingerprint. Likewise, just as personal to Me as your fingerprint, are your thoughts. For when you are not speaking to Me, it’s how I ‘hear’ you–

think of that

“–work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for God is at work in  you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12b-13

“–for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:8-10

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will  have the light of life.'” John 8:12

“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17

“The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” Psalms 118:14

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8

Welcome Home

I can’t deny that I want My children to be the best that they can be.

Do you not hope for this for your own children? As you watch them grow, you have aspirations for them, hopes and dreams that they will be happy, successful, find love?

Yes

This is what I want for you. It is what I made for you to be, when I made My way to the Cross–it was for you.

My life didn’t change–but for you.

That moment in time when My Father denied My right to see His face. Without a trace of Love extended to Me, I pushed forward knowing you would take My place–His extended Grace unto thee.

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, ‘Eli, Eli, la’ ma sabach-tha’ ni?’ that is, ‘My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?'” Matthew 27:46

I became your sin, that you might know Him, that’s how much you matter to Me.

“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6

My Father called you in, that you may begin a new life, sinless and free.

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:44

That is Love.

Have you sacrificed for your children, to then watch them walk away? Not even knowing if you would know or see them another day?

Maintain Love.

For many I have died for, yet few who would receive. Yet all that I live for is for all who will believe.

“But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, ‘You know nothing at all; you do not understand that it is expedient for you that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation should not perish. He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus should die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.” John 11:49-52

Maintain Love.

I wait for all My children to be grafted in; those turned away to return again to the fold. I trust and believe the best for them and that we can be a family, once again…

Welcome Home!

“Lest you be wise in your own conceits, I want you to understand this mystery, brethren: a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in, and so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob’; ‘and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.'” Romans 11:25-27

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making  peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby bringing the hostility to an end. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near; for through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.” Ephesians 2:13-18

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to  your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” Ephesians 4:4-7

“–if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved.

The scripture says, ‘No one who believes in him will be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows his riches upon all who call upon him. For, ‘every one who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.'” Romans 10:9-13

“–‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, but I perish here with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me as one of your hired servants.’ And he arose and came to his father.

But while he was yet at a distance, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.

And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.

But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet; and bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry; for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to make merry.” Luke 15:17-24

“Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.” I John 3:2-3

The Open Door

Do you have the faith of Abraham?

Abraham believed against all hope a promise I had given, when all flesh shouted impossible.

“For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, saying, ‘Surely I will bless you and multiply you.’ And thus Abraham, having patiently endured, obtained the promise.” Hebrews 6:13-15

“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was to go.” Hebrews 11:8

“By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.” Hebrews 11:8, 11-12

Do you have the faith of Noah?

Noah continued to believe, when no one would receive, the message he’d been given. He built an ark facing a lifetime of mockery, ridicule and shame, but simply believed.

“By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, took heed and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; by this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith.” Hebrews 11:7

“He (God) blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark.” Genesis 7:23

“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.” Genesis 9:1

Do you have the faith of Paul?

He stood against tradition and all he had been taught; faced all who’d hated him for what he had wrought. A man who would stand and testify of Me. Though flogged and beaten, he faced it with joy, for he believed in a greater promise–he believed in Me.

“The crowd joined in attacking them (Paul and Silas); and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods. And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely. Having received this charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and every one’s fetters were unfastened.” Acts 16:22-27

“And God did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.” Acts 19:11-12

They all believed, along with countless others who stood the test of time.

Do you believe or do you waver when things don’t happen as you expect? Open My Word and reflect, on the faith of those gone before. My faithful ones who’ve opened the door for you to receive–faith.

“Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.” Hebrews 13:7-8

It’s not about time, for My time is endless and I AM the one that must follow through, for the promises found in My Word to be True.

If you believe.

It’s not yours to deliver, that’s the work of the Giver, but to trust and receive…

If you believe.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.” Hebrews 12:1-3

“–‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?'” John 11:25-26

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?–unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” II Corinthians 13:5
