Clear Purpose

It is apparent that those who follow closely to My side, have trained their heart to abide. It wasn’t merely a ‘head’ decision; yes, they thought about it, but then took it deeper.

Meditation of a matter takes it deep into the heart of a man.

“May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.” Psalms 104:24

This form of ownership is what causes a man to follow closely, without needing to think every move through; it is just natural, for they naturally abide. That is when you know that you are no longer in ‘works’ but fellowship.

“–but the anointing which you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him.” I John 2:26-27

You know My heartbeat for you linger and languish at My side. It is a luxury that many do not afford themselves in these fast-paced days–to linger, to rest at My side.

Abide–listening to My desires, as I listen to yours…

  • Communion
  • Companionship
  • Love

Life is short, and the battle is hard, but for those who learn of Me, the way is clear; for I steer those who are near. They are not carried by the tide, but have clear purpose when I AM near–

when you abide.

“And by this we may be sure that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He who says ‘I know him’ but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps his word, in him truly love for God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him: he who says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” I John 2:3-6

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever.” I John 2:15-17

“Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.” I John 2:24

“By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. In this is love perfected in us, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world.” I John 4:13-17

“But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all thy works.” Psalms 73:28

“Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!” Psalms 119:2-3

“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalms 128:1-2

The Vital Mind

Your body is a dwelling that slows and ages, but your spirit never changes; it remains as fresh as the day you were born.

Live out of your spirit

Live like your spirit

Refresh your thoughts and renew them to see yourself active and alive. Your mind is very much like a steering force. You will find your actions will follow where your mind dwells. But you have the power to steer your course. You must direct your mind to stay the course I set before you–to complete the purpose of your life.

It may seem that you are taking dips and turns, but these are merely mile markers of growth. As you mature and grow through meditation of My Word, and acting thereon, you will find the dips less frequent and no longer severe; the turns less sharp. And you will say…

‘Yes, I see’

Empower your mind to work for you. You have been instilled with a tremendous capacity to learn. As you learn, you will overcome, but it is so much more than overcoming and conquering. What I have planned for you is destiny–to arrive with purpose! To not, battle your way up, but stride forward in confidence and authority–command your life! Therefore I urge you to be spirit-minded, not flesh-minded.

As your body ages, live out of your spirit in vitality. To dwell on the impact of aging is to dwell in the rehearsal of death.

I AM all about life!

Therefore, dwell in the land of the living.

Train your mind to live, for it truly will steer your course, but you have the power to lay hold of that wheel!

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, indeed it cannot; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit which dwells in you. So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh for if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Romans 8:11

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed every day.” II Corinthians 4:16

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:17-18

The Plumb Line

Re-examine your heart daily to see where you stand…

Like a plumb line, it is a measuring rod for your soul.

You may be closer than you think, but you may also be further away from your goal than need be.

Make the necessary adjustments while they are

small

few

Often it is simply a matter of changing your thinking.

Believe in yourself as you believe in Me

For we are one.

“I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; I will not set before my eyes anything that is base.” Ps. 101:1b-2

“If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has given heed to the voice of my prayer.” Ps. 66:18-19

“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. I tell you, on the day of judgment men will render account for every careless word they utter; for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt. 12:34b-37

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” Ps. 19:14

I Tend to You

Adapt an attitude of praise and thanksgiving when troublesome times appear, for they are but a vapor in time and you will see them no more.

My children tend to think first, then pray later. I want you to practice prayer and allow your thoughts to be that of meditation on My Word. For this strange thing that has come upon you is not anything that has missed My notice. I have already prepared the balance for you. It is in trust and faithfulness that you come through to the other side of it unscathed.

Much time is wasted toiling and fretting–this is needless; for your Father careth for you. I will tend to you. Come to Me, you who are weary and burden-laden and I will give you rest.

“Behold, God is My salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song and he has become my salvation.” Is. 12:2

“Like cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. So thou didst lead thy people, to make for thyself a glorious name.” Is. 63:14

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou dost preserve my life; thou dost stretch out thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; thy steadfast love, O Lord, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of thy hands.” Ps. 138:7-8

“I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.” Ps. 104:33-34
