Nothing is too Complicated for God

In my last post, “Nothing is too Insignificant for God,” I wrote about the seemingly insignificant things that are important to God, because they matter to us. The testimony in that post declares His unending love for us. Even that which would seem foolish to others matters to Him, if it matters to you.

You can trust Him with your heart!

Likewise there is no concern that you may have, that is too big for God to answer. From the tiniest need to the biggest fear and concern–He is there!

The following testimonies are, joyous, living proof of the goodness of God! They each received terrible news from their doctor. Each took a slightly different path, but each put their faith and trust in their Heavenly Father and the Healing power of Jesus Christ. I will write of just one testimony today, the other two will follow another day.

You can trust Him with your Body!

Please allow me to introduce you to Peppi. It is with his permission that I write his testimony and use his real name.

I was writing the third book in the “His Voice in My Heart” series last June, when the Lord stopped my writing. I blogged about it then, but at that time had not yet known the full purpose in His stopping me. At the time, I had been working toward a goal of publishing by Christmas of that year, 2021; when He spoke to me and said, “So, why don’t you think more toward spring.” “Ok, sure.” was my reply. I had thought He was just wanting me to slow my pace, and not work so hard. I was really enjoying the writing though, so I slowed down but kept dabbling at it. He then pulled the anointing. It was like trying to write in the dark without Him. No, not happening! What I didn’t know at that time was that He had someone that He was soon going to introduce me to and it would forever change this person’s life. His testimony has become a crowning Glory to the Lord, completing the book series, “His Voice in My Heart.” It declares the Lord’s Love, Compassion and Healing Power to all who will receive!

Glory to God!

I won’t go into the whole testimony here, you may read it when the book comes out. I won’t venture to say for sure, but again my hope is in time for Christmas; but I’ll just leave that up to the Lord!

Knowing that there will be many that don’t venture to read a book, I will tell you much of what happened. Spoiler alert for those of you that will read the book, but then it bears repeating . . . again and again and again!

One can never stop rejoicing in the goodness of our wonderful Savior!

So one day I was going to meet a friend for coffee and the Lord spoke to me and said, “Take your books with you; there is someone I want you to give them to.”

I obeyed without question, and went to meet my friend. She texted that she would be late, part of God’s plan I expect, and so I sat there looking around for the person He had in mind. My spirit had been drawn to a man that was sitting behind me but he had gotten up and left, so I looked around and finding no clues, asked the Lord, “So, who are they for?” Just then that same man came back in, and this time sat at a table to my right. “It’s him.” the Lord replied. and then, as if to make sure I didn’t miss it, He immediately repeated, “It’s him.”

I didn’t need courage, because the Lord was so clear, but asked the man if he liked to read. His responsive yes was all I needed. I jumped up and told him the Lord had asked me to bring him my books and then told him, “They are written for prisoners but please don’t take that personal, because they are for anyone.” “We all have things in our life we’re working on.” I said.

“No,” he replied. “I am one.” “Well, I’m out now, but I’ve been in prison in Chicago for years.”

He then seemed to want to talk, and told me of his life in prison. He spoke of cancer, an aneurysm, stroke and seizures in prison that he had overcome, without the help of the prison system. Then he proceeded to tell me that he now had cancer for the third time. When he said that, faith came out of me like a roar and I said, “Oh, NO, that’s got to go!” “Can I pray for you?” I took his hands and commanded that cancer to leave his body, in Jesus Name.

He received his healing right then and there, but it was January 21st that he texted me and said the doctor could hardly see any cancer on the scan. March 3rd, the doctor couldn’t see any cancer, and this past week it was confirmed with a pet scan. There is no cancer anywhere in his body!

Glory to God!!!

I found out later why the Lord had cut me off and I didn’t wait to hear where he had the cancer, but prayed. I may have been daunted by the report for he had cancer in his brain, face, neck, shoulders and it had started in his bones. I learned that day that the Lord is not daunted by any report!

It was his 3rd round of cancer and stage 4 but that’s not too big for God!

God is the healer, I am not. I was there to connect with him to God. Sometimes we need someone with us to bolster our faith and believe with us.
I explained to him that day that many don’t receive their healing because they don’t believe it until they see it. They keep praying and asking but never “receive” it. Some healings come instantly, but others take time. Faith is the “substance” of things “hoped” for and the “evidence” of things “not” seen.

I told Peppi, that he is healed right now!  “Expect to see it, but not be concerned about when.” “Praise and thank God daily for your healing.” “Write healing scriptures on sticky notes and put them where you will see them though-out the day.” “Read them out loud to get them in your ears and down into your heart.” I encouraged. “I’ll do it!” he replied with conviction and a sharp nod of his head.

He wasn’t disappointed!

I rejoice with you, Peppi, and thank you for allowing me to pray with you and for being a shining star to complete my book. You represent all that I write for and I hope that others will take courage from your testimony to trust the Lord with their heart, body and life.

I want every reader to know that no matter what you’re going through, no matter where you”ve been, you’re important to God!

Reader, He knows right where you are, and you are not alone–simply reach out to Him.

Peppi had met the Lord while in prison and was out now and studying to become a prison minister. He told me later that he had planned to go into the prison systems to minister when, suddenly, Covid hit. “Lord, how am I going to get into the prisons now?” he prayed. The Lord answered his prayer bigger than Peppi could imagine. He answered this dying man by healing his body, giving him a testimony of victory to share and now, with God’s help, Peppi’s testimony will be going into prisons all over the country via the next “His Voice in My Heart” book.

If the Lord hadn’t stopped me from finishing that book, June 6th, 2021, it would have already been to the publisher for editing by the time I met Peppi.

I had never met or even seen Peppi before. God introduced us, because He has a plan for Peppi’s life. He not only knows Peppi, but he knew he would be at the coffee shop that day, arranged to have my friend delayed, and sent me to pray with him. Peppi was not forgotten. He may have messed up in life, but God will use his testimony for His Glory!

You are not forgotten either . . . you have a future waiting to unfold.

God’s timing is perfect–listen to Him–He knows just what you need!

Peppi told me later that prior to all this he had been discouraged and had thought about going back to Chicago. He had trouble finding a place to live because no one wanted to rent to him, given his record. His sister, Lois, told him, “Peppi, if you come back to Chicago you will miss your blessing!”

Lois was right! Soon after, someone did take a chance and offered Peppi an apartment, 5 minutes away from his church. That was the stipulation Peppi had put in his prayer and God answered that prayer!

Peppi, you’re on your way–Your future is bright!

Thank you, God, for allowing me to be a part of his story.

I pray for God’s Blessing to be upon you, Peppi, all the days of your life and I know that God has already answered my prayer!

All Glory Be to God!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5

Faith in a Faithful God

Hello Reader, it’s so good to see you again. I have missed you.

It has been a very different year for me, and I wish I could say that I understand it all, but that would not be true. I live by faith that I will grow more and more in understanding every day.

The Lord is GOOD!

I was working on my next book; the third in the, “His Voice in My Heart” series, when the Lord called a rest. He simply said, “Why don’t you think more toward spring, rather than Christmas?” “Ok, sure.” So, I thought He wanted me to take it at a slower pace and with that in mind, I kept dabbling at it. He has a way of making His point, when we just don’t seem to get it; and His ‘way’ of choice was to pull the anointing–much like turning out the light. I could either sit there in the dark or take the hint. Either way, I will not be writing without Him–not by ability, or by choice!

Understand, this is just not my work!

This “rest” has taken me through some growing pains, but it was when I embraced it all, and said to the Lord, “Seasons change and this will too; don’t let me miss what I am to learn in this!” That was the moment that things began to turn.

Abide!

So as I emerge with an inkling that I will soon be writing that book again, the Lord has given me a testimony to share . . .

Back when I was writing, I was getting a nudge in my heart that I would be needing a new computer. As it seemed to be working fine, except for the keyboard getting a little glitchy and battery showing it’s age, I sort of shelved the nudge for later. Soon after, He stopped my writing. My computer became just a source to connect to work and check on accounts; so all the more I wasn’t looking into replacing it.

One day, I wasn’t even sitting at my computer, but a cup of coffee was; and as I fussed with stuff nearby, somehow I managed to slap that cup of coffee all over the keyboard of my laptop. Rushing it to the laptop hospital, that night, it came to me again about getting a new computer; though the other one was working except for the keyboard. So, I started looking online and the next day, locally, asked to see an open box computer that said “fair condition.” The outside of the box declared scratches and dents, missing cords, pen and paperwork. However, I was in a hurry and didn’t read the statement sticker on the box. I asked to see the computer itself and when the salesman unboxed it, neither of us could find a scratch on it. Being in a hurry, I asked him if it had the cord, and He replied, “Yes.” Not checking to confirm, but trusting what he said, I bought it–big mistake! I got home later and found that it not only didn’t have the pen and paperwork, but no cords; nothing but the computer itself. I took the whole box apart and found that it was just as the sticker stated.

How could I be so irresponsible?

I looked up all the parts that I was missing and found that it would cost close to $250 to replace them. I decided to just take it all back and order a new one the next day. It was disappointing, because I thought I was getting a good deal.

The next morning I was about to go there, first thing, when the Lord spoke to me to look in the box. I obeyed, but reminded the Lord that I had taken everything out of that box, even the little false bottom box that holds the computer up higher in the box, but there was nothing. He must have smiled at that, because when I pulled out that little black box from the bottom, this time it was heavy! There, in that box, were the cord, the pen and the instructions. Everything that the sticker on the box declared missing–all were new, still in wrapping.

I rejoiced!

I was especially glad, because they called to say they couldn’t get the keyboard for my computer and told me to come and get my laptop while they searched for one. They sent me home with a loaner USB keyboard, that I used to transfer all my stuff to a USB storage and then to the new computer. I used the old laptop for two weeks, even loaded Photoshop on it and used it, which is a big file. In two weeks time they called to say they got the keyboard and I took the laptop in for them to replace the keyboard. After a weeks vacation, I called to ask about my computer only to hear that they couldn’t even boot it up. I was shocked. It had been working just fine! He said he would continue to work on it, but said someone must have spilled something on it. I told him “Yeah, I told you that when I took it in.” So I had my new computer and wasn’t in a hurry, but hoped they could fix it as the Photo Shop is now incompatible with the new technology in my computer.

In the meantime, I was enjoying my new computer so much, and was careful not to eat near it. One day however, I just set a bowl of cereal down by it, to move my computer out of the way, and somehow history repeated itself and I slapped that bowl of cereal all over my new computer! Oh no, not again! I called immediately, an hour before they closed, and begged him to open the computer and dry it out right away. The keyboard wasn’t working, the video wouldn’t play and other things were scrambling fast. He agreed and I rushed it to the laptop hospital to share a room right next to my other computer. How could this be happening??

I wanted to stay to hear the verdict, but they wouldn’t let me hang around. I went home with my heart heavy and mind whirling; so very mad at myself for not learning the lesson the first time! Pulling into my driveway, I got out to get the mail. Right then, the Lord spoke, strong, right from my chest. “Your computer is going to be all right.” He said it twice. I expect He wanted to confirm it because I was so upset. It was so clearly His Voice.

Clinging to those words, I waited.

It came to me, that weekend, about what had happened with my other computer. In revelation, I knew that they didn’t open and clean it when I first took it in. In fact, it came to me, that they didn’t open it at all until they went to replace the keyboard. I decided right then to give it to the Lord. As hard as it is to lose a working computer, I felt that I needed to let it go and be thankful for the new one, that He said would be ok.

When the guy called to tell me the computer was working, but the old one still was not, I point-blank, but without emotion, stated that he didn’t open it to dry it out. He said he did and cleaned it too. To which I replied, “Yes, but you didn’t do that when I first took it in, did you?” He admitted that he hadn’t and we both knew that was why it had stopped working. It had ruined the motherboard.

When I went in for my computer, I took him my books and thanked him for saving my computer; explaining that I couldn’t write the next book without it. I got the computer home and found the face recognition wasn’t working. Taking it back in, two guys looked it over. The webcam and camera no longer worked. The whole screen would have to be replaced or get an accessory webcam. I don’t use cam, except for face recognition, and so I took it home; sad that it was no longer perfect, but grateful that it worked! It was a small price to pay. That night though, I prayed and asked the Lord to fix it for me. He can do anything. I repented for not learning my lesson and asked if He would make it perfect again so it wouldn’t remind me every time I used it of how foolish I had been.

The next morning, my laptop worked perfectly–facial recognition and all!

I expect that if I had come down hard on the computer guy for his mistake, that God wouldn’t have fixed my mistake. The best part of this whole story is that when I was pulling into the computer hospital to get my laptop back, I got a call from an ex-prisoner, that the Lord had led me to at a coffee shop; a whole ‘nuther story in itself! He has been reading my books and he called to say he is halfway through the first “His Voice in My Heart” and plans to read it all over again before he moves on to the next. He was so excited and, my friends, this is what it is all about!

I write for him.

I write for HIM!

He Holds the Future

I am told she was a visitor, and I don’t remember ever seeing her before. She stood out in the isle near me, singing robustly to the Lord. When worship ended, I glanced over and she returned my gaze; the moment she did, the Lord showed me a vision of her all grown up, though she is actually about 7 or 8 years old.

In an instant, I saw her as an adult.

In this glimpse she was standing in front of an empty stage, with microphone in hand; but she was down on the floor level, standing right in front of the people. Though I didn’t see the size of the group, I sensed it to be quite large, as the stage extended quite a span. I could see the front rows of people near her as well, and they lined the length of the stage. In just a moment of time I witnessed what she looked like, height, body shape, clothing, hair, and I knew her demeanor to be feisty, no nonsense–

A passionate warrior for the Lord.

Then, just as suddenly, I was no longer seeing a young woman, but this young girl standing before me.

I had shared something after worship, but I didn’t mention what I had been shown of this girl’s future. Later, as if in confirmation, a testament of her heart, she came to me as I was washing dishes; my church shares a meal together after. She found me in the kitchen and stood at my elbow but slightly behind, waiting for me to notice her. As I turned, she looked up at me with serious eyes and said, “I liked your talk.” I smiled, thanked her, and she quickly darted off.

May she be nurtured to grow in the admonition of the Lord.

May she fulfill the Lord’s call on her life.

I don’t even know her name, but I don’t have to–the Lord knows her future!

He knows I will pray.

That’s why He shows us these things!

“And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 NKJV

This same day, also during worship, my son had a powerful encounter with the Lord. His recount of it had many wiping their eyes. In a moment of time, his lifelong quest of questions, laced with doubts, was settled by the Lord Himself! Hallelujah!

Parents, trust the Lord with your children.

He knows the way to each heart. He alone knows the time to reach them–He will reach them!

“Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

“O Lord, thou has searched me and known me! Thou knowest when I sit down and when I rise up; thou discernest my thoughts from afar. Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou dost beset me behind and before, and layest thy hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.” Psalms 139: 1-6

“For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise thee, for thou art fearful and wonderful. Wonderful are thy works! Thou knowest me right well; my frame was not hidden from thee, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth. Thy eyes beheld my unformed substance; in thy book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are thy thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I could count them, they are more than the sand. When I awake, I am still with thee.” Psalms 139:13-18

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'” Matthew 25:37-40

Bold, Courageous–The Mighty

Lions have four feet headed straight forward; you will never see them walking sideways (sidestepping). They are courageous, fierce in battle, yet they often lay down to sleep.

Why do I say this?

You are like the mighty lion!

Every day when you leave your home, it takes courage to face your day. When you get in your car and drive, it takes courage to trust that you will survive. In prayer, you often pray with fierce courage–a battle you fight–yet you think nothing of it. The courage is built inside of you, it’s just part of who you are–you are made that way.

But, there are others . . .

They are afraid to leave their home; afraid to touch another, timid even to look forward, let alone walk purposefully in stride. Behind a facade they do hide. A world they have built that’s not even real, for its foundation is lies–the precepts of the enemy to hold them there; in this state of constant fear.

Think of that, when you walk effortlessly out your door–and PRAY.

Be thankful for the courage I’ve placed within you and PRAY!

Fight that fierce battle for another–lost today; imprisoned in their own home; imprisoned in their own mind. Their freedom–the key that opens the door, breaks binding chains–clears the mind, begins with you!

You are courageous!

Fight fiercely–boldly PRAY!

Pray, then take sleep; knowing that you’ve engaged in warfare for another, many others. You don’t even know their names, but on their behalf you’ve engaged Me–enlisted myriads of angels to war for them . . .

Think of that and sleep peacefully, knowing that you were courageous–

You prayed!

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1

“Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you also are in the body.” Hebrews 13:3

“–encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I Thessalonians 5:14-18

Two new books available to help you in these challenging times . . .

“Comfort in the Challenge.” Published in 2019, and written in dedication to caregivers. A book inspired by God, in provision, before awareness of Covid 19. Read it to be comforted, and encouraged. All messages are spoken from the Heart of God as fresh bread. All proceeds from “Comfort in the Challenge” go directly to Canaanland Ministries of Autaugaville, Alabama. Canaanland has a wonderfully successful 40 year history, dedicated to helping men desiring to overcome addiction and find new life in Jesus!

“His Voice in My Heart,” published in 2020. A journey of messages God has spoken over the past seven years to bring healing and restoration to the wounded soul. In sorting messages for “Comfort in the Challenge,” ‘prisoners’ welled up in my heart so strongly, that I began to sort messages for this special assignment as well. “His Voice in My Heart” is filled with His messages to comfort, challenge and bring restoration; along with several inspiring true testimonies of God’s healing and provision. “His Voice in My Heart” is a special book in your journey to freedom!

The messages are spoken from the heart of God, but are not meant to replace the Word; rather, they serve to lead you to it; to give practical application and encourage understanding of the Word. Unlock the Door to the Future

You’re working through emotions–they’re hard to place; sometimes, you even find that they are difficult to trace. Do not try to figure it out–that is up to Me.

You just sort, and then give them to Me.

For I know the pattern–I know the root. I know what’s been planted–now growing in you. It may seem weary, even exhausting at times; and sometimes you’ll even want to give up and quit–it will be that hard sometimes.

But, don’t give up–persevere.

For My Peace is always here for you, and I will ‘see’ your way clear. As your heart becomes ever more pliable, the hardened rock begins to unfold. A rock that once was frozen, I AM now able to mold.

Your future is clear and bright, as you see the work through.

Don’t give up on the fight–stirring within you!

There is joy in the journey, even as there are tears–

but you will never know what’s in store, until you unlock the ‘storehouse’ of ‘before.’

Don’t hold back from moving forward–

No more restrain!

“And you he made alive, when you were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. among these we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of body and mind, and so we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of your own doing, it is the gift of God–not because of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:1-10

“A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.” Ezekiel 36:26-27

‘His Voice In My Heart’

The Back Cover:

“You don’t have to be behind bars to be imprisoned in life. Life is challenging and feelings can overwhelm. The hurting heart longs to be free–to find destiny and purpose in life.

Your pain is not God’s plan for you. He came to set the captives FREE!

‘His Voice in My Heart’ is a journey that speaks from the Heart of God. Listen as His Love validates you, and speaks messages to heal, confirm, and deepen your relationship IN HIM.

You may not struggle in life but know of one who does. ‘His Voice in My Heart’ will give insight into the journey of another, deepening your understanding of what they face while allowing His compassion to fill your heart for another.

Begin the journey to freedom. It begins in your heart as He speaks to you through His Word and ‘His Voice in My Heart.'”

The Ministry:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good tidings to the afflicted; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion–to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3

This was Jesus’ ministry on this earth. He came to free each and every one that would receive. In varying degrees we have all been hurt, wounded and oppressed. Some more than others, but I don’t know of anyone who has escaped having times of hurts and wounds in their life. As I was sorting messages for ‘Comfort in the Challenge’ one word arose big in my heart, prisoners. I listened in my heart and knew He had a book in mind for them. He directed me in placement of the messages and one book became two (volume II coming soon). When reading them through, His compassion enveloped me so strongly that tears were streaming down my face. He came to give us abundant life and when we are bound in our hearts, it’s not what He paid for. He longs for you to be free! To whatever degree you have need–He is here, He is able!

With Great Joy I Announce A New Published Book!

“His Voice In My Heart”

In both of these books, they are not my words. I didn’t create the messages, He did. Listen as He speaks to your heart and takes you on a journey to bring healing and wholeness to your spirit, soul and body. These messages speak His heart but they are not to replace the Word, but serve to amplify and clarify it. Read the Word. Scriptures are included with every message. Take the time to look them up, study the Word. It is the Word that Saves, Delivers and Heals. Jesus IS the Word–He came for you!

‘His Voice in My Heart’

Now available at Nation of Women Publishing, as is ‘Comfort in the Challenge.’ Both books may be ordered from the link below.

‘Comfort in the Challenge’
