Waiting for an answer may seem long and you wonder why I tarry, yet I often wonder why you wait. Do you know the answer is often already in My Word? You may even know it, have read it many times, and yet believe it is not working for you. It may work for others, you say, but not you–why?
Because that is what you believe.
You must first know My Word–know it to believe.
Think of your checking account. You have recorded how much money you have, and therefore, by faith you write a check; expecting someone from the bank to follow through and send the money from your account–paying for your request.
It will only fail if you didn’t have the money to begin with.
So it is with My Word if you believe in Me. I AM the Word; therefore if you’ve received Me, you’ve received the Word.
“And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.” I John 5:11-12
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.” John 1:14
Everything written is then already yours–as a promise. Believe what you know–act as if it is so, for it is–I promise!
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why we utter the Amen through him, to the glory of God.” II Corinthians 1:20
I Am the Word, written for you to know–to have and to hold.
Now, make the demand to your account. No reason to beg, cry and plead; just ask and believe…
You will receive.
“And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any one; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”” Mark 11:22-26
“And he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.'” Mark 5:34
“No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. That is why his faith was reckoned to him as righteousness.” Romans 4:21-22
“Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. All who keep his commandments, abide in him, and he in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.” I John 3:21-24
“I write this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.” I John 5:13-15
“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
“As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7
