What Were They Thinking?

Sadness is not a condition of the heart, it first begins in your mind.

Your mind, when left unchecked, will multiply thoughts quickly; clouding your process of thinking; blocking your understanding–

eventually enveloping you, to develop your mood for the day.

If you allow this to continue, it can become your way of life. Before you even realize it, you’ve worn it like a garment. A cloak then becomes a badge of honor when defensive; as others try to bring you back to the ‘you’ they know and care for.

Don’t start.

Guard your mind and your heart; for the two will collaborate and design a new life for you, that you may not wish to live.

Too many lose their life to their thoughts. “How could this be?” their loved ones say to me. “I was just with them–they seemed fine.”

But, left alone with their thoughts. . .

A fortress can build right quickly to change the course of your day, and even your life if you let these thoughts build. It is not a fortress to protect, but a fortress of neglect.

  • Brilliance does not come from confusion.
  • Joy does not arise in a cluttered mind and heart.

Think with purpose–think thoughts from above.

Tell your mind not to wander, and think on love.

I AM Love–think on Me!

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth. For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4

“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:6-8

“O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!” Psalms 107:1

My First Book is Now Available

‘Comfort In The Challenge’

“You don’t have to look far to find someone coping with a challenge. It may be a friend, co-worker, parent or child. Maybe you need only to look within. The list of trials in life is endless–the challenge within. But God knows the need, and He knows the heart of the one you love–He knows YOU!

‘Comfort in the Challenge’ is filled with messages spoken from the heart of God. Inside you will find that God loves you and He cares about you, personally, and what you care about matters to Him. He wants to take that care, in exchange, with His thoughts of Love, Hope, Healing, and Direction. He speaks to the need, He speaks to You, to bring you–‘Comfort In The Challenge.'”

All royalties for the life of this book will go directly to the ministry, Canaanland, of Autaugaville, Alabama. Canaanland, takes in men that have lost control of their lives to addiction and crime. Their tremendous (40 year) success rate has often prompted the judges of the surrounding area to offer, Canaanland, as an alternative to jail time. But, Canaanland, is not a bail from jail; it is a golden opportunity for those who truly want a new life! I have met some of these men and they are so full of joy that they absolutely shine–truly transformed by the love of God.

Canaanland charges nothing for a year stay; including room and board for their families as well, if necessary. I find the true dedication of Canaanland, in surrounding these men with love, and the life-changing power of the Word of God, to be unsurpassed. All is made possible through the dedication and hard work of these men, and generous donations of partner support.

It is their vision, to have a ‘Canaanland’ in every state, and my vision for this book, to help them realize this goal. Will you join me in helping these men and their families receive a new life? Will you consider purchasing ‘Comfort in the Challenge’ for your friends, loved ones, for yourself–for Canaanland? The books are beautiful and I am over-the-top excited for you to receive yours!

I Lay Me Down To Weep

There is a garment that is woven with tears. A garment of praise throughout the years.

Praise you say?

How can tears represent praise?

They raise a banner of faith. Those tears say to the enemy–I have not given up. For the one that gives up is dry faced–glances bitter. Tears release the sadness within.

Tears complete the love and begin–

the process to heal.

Praise the Lord, you that weep.

Praise the Lord, as you lay thee down to sleep.

The night is far spent and soon you will see–

the loved one you cry for–

yea and soon you’ll see Me.

***************************

The silence has been long, the battle hard. Thank you all for your love and prayers. My husband went to be with the Lord on July 2nd, 2015.

He left wrapped in words and kisses of love.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:16-17

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.” John 3:36

And when the Lord called him home, I felt my spirit rip. I remember saying out loud, “What is happening to me?” I felt strangely inside; something rising up within and suddenly I felt a distinct tearing and for a moment lost my breath; then he was gone.

“Then the man said, ‘This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’ Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.” Genesis 2:23-24

I have been shaken and I am hurting, but one thing I know…God is not through with me yet.

I miss you my love.
