Rooted in the Cross

Prepare your heart to receive the depth of the Cross.

It is not to be taken lightly, that terrible event–the affects of which man shall never know in this generation–yet, its root remains in thee.

You see, that is the core of Christianity.

One calls themself a Christ follower; yet, that cannot be without receiving the depth of the Cross–it is the core of Me. I came to die–to extend My Life to you.

It was the plan to restore.

“You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of times for your sake. Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.” I Peter 1:18-21

I had not sinned, yet I took your sin upon Me.

I cried out, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:34)

We had never been separate before. But your sin turned Him away from Me–your sin closed the door.

My Father cannot remain with sin in His Presence.

When I took your sin upon Me, He had to turn away.

You are innocent, you are holy–the Breath of God in you!

“–then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7

But, the day you choose to sin, you turn your back on Him.

The plan is in place–it all happened at the Cross. The great exchange–I suffered for your loss.

“Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” II Corinthians 5:17-21

Now you can remain–as if you’d never sinned.

All you need do–repent, and ask Me in.

That is the start–ask Me into your heart. But there is so much more, once you open that door!

Don’t stay at the Cross, but take time to learn of it–let its root run deep into the core of you!

For at the Cross I paid the price–the Perfect Sacrifice.

Your foundation is the Cross–you need not suffer loss. Learn what that means–let those roots run deep!

The grave, it could not hold Me–I left, that you not stay!

Simply walk away.

Walk away from sin and shame. Walk away from blame. Leave your past at the grave–

My roots remain in thee!

I was lifted up at the Cross, for all the world to see. Now, lift up your devotion to Me!

My Father says, “Welcome Home!”

From the Cross–Walk Free!

“–and he said to them, ‘Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” Luke 24:46-47

Refuse to Wear Shame

Happy is he who stands in the court of My Father and is not ashamed.

You wear My Blood.

It is the issue that came forth–proclaiming you to be Mine!

Never to part.

Proclaim this to the enemy, when he speaks of your sin, to your ear. It is the enemy and though he knows truth, he does not speak it–think on this.

Why then do you feel ashamed, as if you believe it?

Shut him down!

You wear My Blood–never to be naked again.

Sin has no place in your life, nor does strife–shut it down.

You wear the Blood.

Bow before Me in humility and cast it aside–but don’t lose your stride–

for you wear My Blood!

It is your Wedding Garment–

not shame.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do; sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, in order that the just requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4

“Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.” Isaiah 54:4-5

“Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7

“–Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:4-6

“Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, ‘Who are these, clothed in white robes, and whence have they come?’ I said to him, ‘Sir, you know.’ And he said to me, ‘These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night within his temple; and he who sits upon the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.'” Revelation 7:13-17

Two New Books available to help you in these challenging times . . .

“Comfort in the Challenge.” Published in 2019, and written in dedication to caregivers. A book inspired by God, in provision, before awareness of Covid 19. Read it to be comforted, and encouraged. All messages are spoken from the Heart of God as fresh bread. All proceeds from “Comfort in the Challenge go directly to Canaanland Ministries of Autaugaville, Alabama. Canaanland has a wonderfully successful 40 year history, dedicated to helping men desiring to overcome addiction and find new life in Jesus!

“His Voice in My Heart.” Published in 2020. A journey of messages God has spoken over the past seven years to bring healing and restoration to the wounded soul. In sorting messages for “Comfort in the Challenge,” ‘prisoners’ welled up in my heart so strongly, that I began to sort messages for this special assignment as well. “His Voice in My Heart is filled with His messages to comfort, challenge and bring restoration; along with several inspiring true testimonies of God’s healing and provision. “His Voice in My heart” is a book of your journey to freedom!

The messages are spoken from the heart of God, but are not meant to replace the Word; rather, they serve to lead you to it; to give practical application and encourage understanding of the Word. It is the Word of God that saves, heals and delivers–Jesus, is the Word. Included in both books you will find many scriptures for your study in the Word.

Both books may be ordered from “Nation of Women Publishing,” found by clicking the link below.

Do not hold back from supporting ministries that are preaching the gospel around the world. They serve the Lord and are reaching places you may never see. When you support the preaching of the Gospel, you support the Lord’s work and hasten our coming Lord, King Jesus.

Human nature tends to shoot their best supporting foot, just because it steps a little different than the other. May we all take on the ‘nature’ of God and receive His peace and understanding for one another!

Thank you and God Bless You,

Free of Nasty

Nice or Nasty? Both are behaviors of the heart; both seem common from the start. But things do not seem as though they do appear, for one behavior truly has its root planted in fear.

“In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and earthenware, and some for noble use, some for ignoble. If any one purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel for noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work.” II Timothy 2:20-21

Fear can be complex, a given opportunity, for the one who has lost trust, to turn and heap fear upon thee. Nasty is a behavior of the heart of one that carries wounds–hurts that run far and deep–troublesome  even in their sleep; producing fruit that is nasty.

Do you know of one like this?

They toil and connive, their goal only to strive, against the one they see at peace–one who is nice and not nasty.

  • My Love will heal their wounded heart.
  • My Love will give them a brand new start.
  • My Love will cause the soul to thrive, of the one who seems only to survive.

You who are nice, you ought to think twice, about the one from whom you would rather run. For I call them dear, and ask you to lead them near. I wish to set them free from nasty.

Do you see?

Lord, could it be, that this one is me? But for your Love, there go I. I was the one with a wounded heart, yet your Love sustained.

  • I lost trust, yet your Love remained.
  • I acted out, when others found peace.
  • I, the one seeking release from nasty.

Oh Lord I see–that one is me!

Please Father, hear my plea, to complete your Love in me. For there is an area not yet free, from nasty. The room closed off–too painful to see. Boarded and still–please take it from me. I’ve held on too long–its grown much too strong. A place I can no longer trace–its root remains in me.

“Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fail to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” spring up and cause trouble, and by it the many become defiled–” Hebrews 12:14-15

Please hear my plea!!

My child, I have never left you, yet I needed for you to see, your whole heart you did not yield or give to Me–you’ve been holding back on Me. I can restore–will heal you completely, but it must begin with you. For I do not force myself inside–invite Me in to sup with thee. I will abide and you will thrive, as My Love reveals the pain, but only to wash away the stain, of the one who had lost their way.

“–No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it upon an old garment; if he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.” Luke 5:36-38

I Love you!

You will be brand new, when the work is through, but there yet remains one thing…

I can not yet begin, or ever change, the one who remains the same. To begin, you must admit and then submit to the One who Loves you so. Let go of blame and so refrain from holding back–you know. I will complete the work in thee, with permission from you, that I might see…

All that you’ve held back–

Forever Free

If you would simply trust in Me!

“–for God is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect; but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature be thus minded; and if in anything you are otherwise minded, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.” Philippians 3:12-16

Still

The magnitude of sin in the world is great, for chapter upon chapter has been written to entice man into a world of the unknown; a world of darkness and evil of every kind. Much to the dismay of man, this practice has been honored and protected, kept alive by the court system once developed to protect.

Shame

My heart cries out for the innocent, the unprotected, the children of the lost. My little lambs bleating for a mother. A Savior bleeding for the mothers that refuse to receive–refuse to believe

Refuse

It is a hard life one chooses to live, in a cold and loveless state of bitterness. A hard heart, encouraged to callous, becomes harder still then–

Still

The opportunity gone, for the life was taken. And still the lambs bleat–still the Savior bleeds for the lost.

Another life was taken; refusing to believe…

They wouldn’t receive…

Still.

“The earth lies polluted under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.” Isaiah 24:5-6

“Do you not know that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. For he will render to every man according to his works; to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immorality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are factious and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for every one who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality.” Romans 2:4b-11

“I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.” Romans 8:18-23

“Wail for the day of the Lord is near; as destruction from the Almighty it will come!” Isaiah 13:6

“Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light; as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned with his hand against the wall, and a serpent bit him. Is not the day of the Lord darkness, and not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?” Amos 5:18-20

“I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant, and lay low the haughtiness of the ruthless.” Isaiah 13:11

“Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place, at the wrath of the Lord of hosts in the day of his fierce anger.” Isaiah 13:13

“Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps faith may enter in. Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee. Trust in the Lord for ever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:2-4

“The way of the righteous is level; thou dost make smooth the path of the righteous.” Isaiah 26:7

“Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the wrath is past. For behold, the Lord is coming forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed upon her, and will no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20-21

“‘Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2
