Only Believe

I have a time and a season for every good thing.

The seed is planted. It lies seemingly dormant, but it is at work in your heart as you ponder the idea of it. When you grasp the idea it begins to put down roots, tiny hair-like fibers at first. They are so tentative and delicate that if you put your “self” into it you would break them off. Pull it up and look at it too closely, and it will die. Don’t jump too quickly in the flesh and try to make it happen. Allow it to work on the inside of you and, in time, as it grows and puts down stronger roots the image and plan will grow in your heart. It will become clearer and, along with the image, an urging to move forth. You will feel a prompting to act. Go with what you know.

I will call you to step forth in one direction. Only one. I will not scatter you to and fro but, one path, one step–a clear direction. Do not follow after strange gods, but follow your God and you will see My will become your will.

You are learning obedience and discipline right now, and you are doing well. You please the Father greatly. You often ponder how you appear to others. Do not worry or even think about this. Keep your eyes fixed on your Father in Heaven and His will for you and it will manifest when His plans and purpose for your life manifest. You won’t care one bit what anyone thinks of you, for you will be gloriously happy and joyful that you have obeyed your God.

You cannot imagine the joy and delight set before you. You have been chosen for greatness far beyond your comprehension of what you know. No man has accomplished what will manifest in your life. Abraham couldn’t comprehend either and yet I chose him for greatness and it came to pass. It began when he believed and it was accounted to him as righteousness.

Only believe!

“–for I have chosen him, that he may charge his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice; so that the Lord may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.” Genesis  18:19

“No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what He had promised. That is why his faith was reckoned to him as righteousness.” But the words, “it was reckoned to him,” were written not for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be reckoned to us who believe in Him that raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was put to death for our trespasses and raised for our justification. Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God.”  Romans  4:20-5:2

“Take heed lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them…” Deuteronomy  11:16a

Abide

Advancing into the Kingdom of God is like that of the growth of a baby. It is well known in My Word that I feed my children milk before they are ready for strong meat, but also, like that of a baby, the growth does not develop properly until the baby begins to trust. He will not step out in faith unless he knows and believes that someone will be there to catch him if he should fall. The baby will search for his mother’s eyes, smile and toddle in the direction that he sees her. He will hear her voice and turn to her with a smile or run giggling in the opposite direction, knowing full well that he will be chased and caught up into her loving arms.

So it is when my children look to Me for acceptance, love and nurturing. One look into My eyes and they know they are safe. Listening for My voice, they are comforted when I call. When they fall, I pick them up. If they run away, they know full well that I will pursue them.

But, there comes a time when…

  • The child must grow up.
  • Must launch into the deep.
  • Must not depend, but deepen.
  • Must eat strong meat.
  • Not seek to be fed, but seek to feed others.

Childish ways must be set aside, for maturity and usefulness to emerge. Just as a mother’s love never diminishes as the child grows into the man, neither will my love wane, but intensify.

This is my command

Abide in Me.

Abide in My Love.

Love one another.

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in Me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down His life for His friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you. This I command you, to love one another.”  Jn.  5:4-17

Consider Love

Present yourself to me as a sacrifice of love…

By sacrifice I mean, to deny the flesh and choose to love.

  • When your emotions want to hate…choose to love.
  • When someone makes you angry…love them.
  • When  you are tempted to speak a cutting retort…love with a closed mouth until love brings forth a kind response and soft-spoken words.

Love is the fulfillment of the law, in that there are no boundaries where love is concerned. Yes, you could overwhelm someone with too much love, but is that truly love?

Love is considerate of others…love waits for an opportune time

Love is considerate of others…love never fails

Love is considerate of others…

I am LOVE

Consider ME.

“–her sins which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.” Lu.  7:47

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Jn.  3:16

“–Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” I Cor. 13:4-7

Follow your Heart

Learn to discern the difference between the temptations that present themselves in your head, from the direction I give you in your heart–your inner man–your spirit. I will always lead you through your heart, never your head, and the enemy of your soul will always try to cast thoughts at you through your head.

Resist the temptations in your mind–those of the flesh, for they wage war against your spirit and often cause disappointment and regret.

Persist. Setting your mind to follow your heart; do not follow your mind with your heart.

  • Resist
  • Pursue
  • Persevere

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Ja 4:7

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”  Rom. 12:2
“Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God and receive what is promised.” Heb.  10:35-36

You Harbor Treasure

Present yourself to Me for I have a present for you. The time has come for you to open My gift; it had your name on it before you were born.

There is a time and a season for all things and the time is now for you to understand and walk in your gifting–to enhance the body of Christ with the treasures that I have instilled within you. Yes there may be others that could stand in your place, but they will not offer the same sweet flavor that you will.

The world will miss out on the special talents you have to offer if you don’t open my gift and see “you” through My eyes. I have many things in store for you, but you are the one that must take the first step.

Open your life to My gifts–activate your life to the BLESSING I have for you!

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven”
Ecc. 3:1

“Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Is. 42:9

“For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them” Rom. 12:4-6a

Special from the Womb

Eye hath not seen the child that I have made that does not have “special” written on his heart. The hand of God has formed the child in the womb. I gather all children unto me and I call them good!

Place your child in My hands from the womb and I will lead him all the days of his life.

  • I will send those to him who will give him cool drink in a hot season.
  • I will send stumbling blocks in his path when he is going astray.
  • I will touch him with a kiss from Heaven that says, behold, thou art Mine.

Trust me with your little ones for I will see to it that your prayers are answered, for I love them even more than you do. I AM the one that created the mother’s heart. I AM the one that created your child.

Trust Me

“For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Ps. 139:13

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.” Jer. 1:5a

“The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother He named my name.” Is. 49:1b

“–who have been borne by me from your birth, carried from the womb; even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and will bear; I will carry and will save.” Is. 46:3b-4

“Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you.” Is. 44:2a

“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who stretched out the heavens alone, who spread out the earth–Who was with me?” Is. 44:24

I Delight in My Bride

Times of refreshing come when you least expect them. They are a little gift from Me, to you, that isn’t sought after. A small surprise in your day when I show up just to say “I love you.” If you are too busy or your mind is too cluttered with the day’s needs or thoughts of tomorrows yet to come, you just may miss what I have for you. Keep your mind uncluttered and your heart ever focused toward Me and you will find little surprises at every turn. For as you purpose toward Me, I will delight to purpose toward you. As a bridegroom delights in His bride, so I delight in you! It is your blessing.

“The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness, and He will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.” Is 33:5-6

The World would see you as weak, when I would call you meek.

When the World deems you despised, I find you highly prized.

You are a pearl of great price My dear, and don’t you ever forget it!

Learn of Me

I am a demanding God in that I expect you to know My Word and walk in obedience to what you know. Yet I am meek and lowly and gentle in that I laid My very life down for you, without protest, that you would be made righteous and enabled to stand before the throne of My Father who has called you by name.

I have many, many facets of who I AM and yet I am judged and quickly categorized by those who know only a small part of Me.

I AM God, can you measure Me? Do you have full understanding of who I AM by the knowledge you have gained in your short life on this Earth?

I thought not.

Learn of me

and then,

Learn some more.

Do you have enough time to truly know Me?

No?

Then let’s spend eternity together.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Jn 6:47

A Refuge to Others

You are a refuge to those who don’t know Me; do not hasten to condemn, but reprove in love. Be kind and gentle, understanding that My love encompasses the wayward and the downtrodden heart.

Many times one acts out of wounds not healed, festering within. Do not quench their spirit by being hasty to find fault, rather, give them opportunity to seek truth and repentance through the guidance of My Holy Spirit.

“Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.” Col 4:5

I AM

I long for the world to know my heartbeat, but very few of My own people truly know My heart.

I long for them to come to Me and just sit quiet, but too often they come–if they come–they come to Me casting about their emotions seeking quick relief, rather than seeking Me.

Emotions tend to gather more attention than I. They are surface distractions, whereas, I dwell deep within. Look to the source within you, the very substance of your being. It is not flesh and bone, it is your spirit.

I am within your heart if you’ve invited Me there and your answers will be found in Me.

  • Your emotions have never healed you. I am your Healer.
  • Your emotions have never saved you. I am your Savior.

I AM

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Lam. 3:25-26
