The Reflection I See

Your ‘image’ of ‘you’ should not be from what you see in the mirror, but the reflection you see when you look into My Word.

When you ‘see’ yourself in My Word, then you will be pleased to see, and all those around you will know, that you’ve spent time with Me.

You’ll then see, that it’s not about the body or the color of your hair. Nor is it about the clothes that you wear. But the face I see, reflected in there, is the face of My Father–My Father is in there.

Come with Me and I’ll show you that each reflecting light, are lights from My Word shining in the night. But it’s from you that they shine–for all to see; the reflection of you, is their ‘inspection’ of Me. For when they look at you, they are looking to see, just what it is that they need of Me.

“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, that those who enter may see the light.” Luke 8:16

Some would not know Me–were it not for you.

Some would not love Me, had there not been love from you.

So when you look into the glass, whether deeply or in pass, take time to remember–therein is not broken, but the image of My Father emanating from you.

The Body that was broken–was broken for you.

The Word that was spoken, was spoken for you.

Why then do you criticize, what you see there ‘fore your eyes? Look instead into My Word–for therein are no lies.

Your body is just substance, the substance of the earth. Your spirit is eternal–of the greatest value and worth.

But the beauty of your face–as it shines in all My Grace, is the clear reflection of My Father; for you have your Father’s eyes. And therein lies your beauty–don’t hide it in disguise.

Shine!

“See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it does not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.” I John 3:1-3

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. In this is love perfected with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world.” I John 4:11-17

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer that forgets but a doer that acts, he shall be blessed in his doing.” James 1:22-25

“My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments and live, keep my teachings as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 7:1-3

“‘You are the light of the world.’ A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

The Driving Force

Examine yourself before you decide what it is that you believe.

Would you take My Name in vain?

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7

If you do not know what you believe; if you do not know what to receive, you carry My Name in vain.

“This people honors me with their lips, but their heart if far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.” Matthew 15:8-9

If I AM your identity–if you identify with who I AM, then you should know Me–really know Me.

I AM

Do you know I AM?

It is a dangerous thing to call yourself a believer and follower and never come to understand the depth of the Cross.

“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” I Corinthians 1:18

It is like driving a car without learning how; you leave yourself wide open to being hurt and hurting others.

Think about it and then decide

What it is that you want?

Do you want to learn how to drive or just see the car parked in your yard? That is what it is if you don’t take the time to learn of Me–a mere facade and you’re not going anywhere.

A powerless prize.

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7

Turn it around.

Learn to drive.

“For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.” I Corinthians 4:20

Abide!

“Jesus answered him, ‘If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.'” John 14:23-24

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.” John 15:1-8

“We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin. For he who has died is freed from sin. But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. The death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:6-11

“And he said to all, ‘If any man come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it.'” Luke 9:23-24

Happy New Year!

Hello 2015!!

I cannot wait to see what you will bring!

May your lives be filled with the fulness of God and the abundant life that His Word promises to them that believe!

God is faithful!!

Receive!

“–that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:16-21

Happy New Year Everyone!

Fire Burns Within

The dimly burning wick shall not be quenched!

I have seen your sorrows and witnessed your sadness, yet you have not turned away; your heart is not cold. You cling to what was, but that is no longer you; you have grown. Trials and hardships have matured you–strengthened what was weak.

Yet, all you see is ash–too weary to speak.

Stir up the coals, for fire burns within; all is not lost–there is forgiveness for your sin.

Stir up the gifts; fan the flame.

Reclaim your life–there’s more to gain. Ask of Me and I’ll give you the nations. Restore prayer–rebuke indignation.

YOU ARE STILL MINE and there is much to do. Stir up the fire–still within you.

Yes time is getting short, but it’s not over yet. Get off your bed of sorrow; it’s time we were moving on. There’s so much more for you to do.

So much more for you!

“–The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name. He made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow, in his quiver he hid me away. And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

But I said, “I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the Lord, and my recompense with my God.”

And now the Lord says, who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him, and that Israel might be gathered to him, for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord, and my God has become my strength–

he says; “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel; I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” Isaiah 49 1b-6

I AM The Cure

Anxiety has become an epidemic of great proportion, but they treat the symptoms with a substance that will not cure, only pacify.

I want to heal them.

I want to remove the fear–wipe away every tear.

I AM the cure.

“With them indeed is fulfilled the prophesy of Isaiah which says: ‘You shall indeed hear but never understand, and you shall indeed see but never perceive. for this people’s heart has grown dull, and their ears are heavy of hearing, and their eyes have closed, lest they should perceive with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn for me to heal them.'” Matthew 13:14-15

Many expect instant answers for relief from the pain; invested a lifetime without any gain; yet give me just a moment–refusing to stay.

Yield to My Way; the Way to be healed–yield!

It takes time to build a kingdom and yet moments to tear it down. Just turn away and destruction begins–until you yield again–turn My way and enter in.

Resisting is the key–resist Satan and he will flee. But resisting isn’t passive you see.

Aggressively order him to leave!

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

When anxiety comes–command fear to go; order pain away. I didn’t leave you defenseless, but you must come to your senses–it’s all in My Word. I will heal your body, but you must guard the words you speak. I will deliver you from shame, but you must find the time to seek.

Yield to stay–I AM the Way you seek…

Guard what you speak!

“And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; be it done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.” Matthew 8:13

“And behold, a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment; for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I shall be made well.” Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.” Matthew 9:20-22

“And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” When he entered the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” And their eyes were opened.–” Matthew 9:27-30a

“And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal.” Matthew 9:1-2

“And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.” Matthew 9:6

“And when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever; he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and served him. That evening they brought to him many who were possessed with demons; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:14-17

“”Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who build his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”” Matthew 7:24-27

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

“Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!” Psalms 128:1

Be Right or Be Left

Are you right or left handed? You are born with natural tendencies and some are stronger than others, but you will develop what you practice. Most will choose to favor one over the other.

Are you left or right?

So you are born with a spirit nature–that you develop by your choices. Do you favor left or right? You are not forced into a mold. Even a child, when influenced, must make his own decision and will grow to live by the decisions he makes.

Child’s play develops–adult decisions envelop–all must choose.

“When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left.” Matthew 25:31-33

Right or left–right or wrong; decisions all life long. Some merely hinder, but some will never escape for the choices they’ve made; in stubbornness they cling to the way that seems right, but the end therein is destruction.

“There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” Proverbs 16:25

“For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he watches all his paths. The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is caught in the toils of his sin. He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is lost.” Proverbs 5:21-23

Are you right or left handed?

It matters not.

But right and wrong is a matter of the heart.

You choose to develop what will envelop you.

Choose rightly–choose life!

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice, and cleaving to him; for that means life to you and length of days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

“Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. He himself shall abide in prosperity, and his children shall possess the land. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.” Psalms 25:12-15

“Turn thou to me, and be gracious to me; for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me out of my distresses. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.” Psalms 25:16-18

“If thou, O Lord, shouldst mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.” Psalms 130:3-4

“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant; later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.” Hebrews 12:11-13

“Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'” Matthew 25:34-36

A Thankful Heart

“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in thee, I will sing praise to thy name, O Most High.” Psalms 9:1-2

Enjoy your families!

For those of us who have to work…be thankful…it is a blessing to have a job!

“Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24

I am so very thankful to God; I am so very thankful for you!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Do You See?

Do you struggle over the completion of God–Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one.” I John 5:7 KJV

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” I John 1:1-2 KJV

Many do.

It seems difficult for them to comprehend the triune Godhead of three complete as One.

Your thinking is ‘natural’ and incomplete. I repeat–incomplete.

For We are like the sun you cannot explain–how such a great fire can remain.

or

The stars in the heavens that delight your eye; how they dwell for so long, so high in the sky.

Do you doubt that they are real?

No, for you see them there. But they are ‘fore’ your natural eye. Faith it takes to believe We three are One. Faith it takes to please the Father and Son. Could you then believe that, in order for you to ‘see’, I gave a part of Myself to you as My Son; a man that is tangible to touch and to see?

Do you think I did that for Me?

I did it that you might be one. When you believe in He, you believe in Me and you are won, that We may be One–you and I, as I and My Son.

“I am God, and also henceforth I am He; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work and who can hinder it?” Isaiah 43:13

Do you see?

“If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has borne witness to his Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne to his Son.

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.” I John 5:9-12

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, to know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”  I John 5:20

Look again–with eyes from within; there you will ‘see’ Me…

ask Me in.

“For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order; Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.” I Corinthians 15:20-23

“Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.” I Corinthians 15:49

“For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men, training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passion, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world, awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.” Titus 2:11-14

“The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in shrines made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all men life and breath and everything.

And he made from one every nation of men to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us, for ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your poets have said, “For we are indeed his offspring.’

Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the Deity is like gold, or silver, or stone, a representation by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all men by raising him from the dead.” Acts 17:24-31

“And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been give to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.'” Matthew 28:18-20

All You Need

What would you say in your last breath–what would your last words be?

Jesus Saves.

“So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.'” John 10:7-11

What if all those around you in your dying moment are saved–what would be your words?

I Love You.

Well said, for that is why I came–that is My purpose on earth. I came that all would be saved. I came that all would be loved. Announce this to the world, for there is nothing greater in life–

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18

Salvation and Love,

you cannot separate the two; one builds the other.

Think about it.

I came for you!

“–just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:27-28

“–every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, then to wait until his enemies should be made a stool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.” Hebrews 10:11-14

“–and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast our confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:21-25

“He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
