Did We Pray?

Gather together what you need and we will proceed into this day. This day that seems like any other day, but something is missing–

We didn’t pray.

You see when you pray, I AM praying with you. I AM the Door that opens the Way to the Father. Your Father hears your prayers when you pray through Me–pray in My Name.

“So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.'” John 10:7-9

“I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.'” John 14:6

“–Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name. Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23-24

Learn to pray as you begin each day–

for you know not what your day will bring. But I AM the light that brightens your day, lifting the burdens along the way.

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'” John 8:12

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Many things hidden seem not to impress, but later become mountains when you’re under duress. Prayer roots out the smallest factor that could hinder the day–

you didn’t stop to pray.

“Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.” Song of Solomon 2:15

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving–” Colossians 4:2a

“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“And he told them a parable, to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” Luke 18:1

“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:11-14

For in him all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” Colossians 1:19-20

Built For Worship

You read of the elaborate house Solomon built for Me, it does not begin to compare to thee. How do silver, gold, jewels and the like, carry the price of a human life?

That house was built to worship Me, how much more I’d ask that you bow before Me, least once each day, to ask and pray for the lost, the lonely, those broken of heart; the ones that never had a start–for sin took their life.

Please pray for those left behind, to bear the pain, suffering and shame of a choice not right; maiden flight–stolen in the night, a heart too freely give.

Please bow thy knee, entreat of Me to come, to mend the heart clearly numb…

I’ll come

I’ll come

Each house is built to worship Me–a project only God could see–for the human mind could not devise, the intricacy of body, spirit and soul, placed together to make one whole. A spirit inclined toward the divine–the missing key, to fill the hole, of a heart that’s not complete.

Please pray for that one, that hungry soul. Please bow and ask that they might know…

That I can make it all aright…

I’ll come

I’ll come

The house was built for worship, a costlier one had never been built–until there was you–nothing compares to you!

Not gold, not silver–just you.

Worship and pray

I will come!

“The house which I am to build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods. But who is able to build him a house, since heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to burn incense before him?” II Chronicles 2:5-6

“Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; all that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished.

Then the Lord appeared to Solomon in the night and said to him: ‘I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place. For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that my name may be there for ever; my eyes and my heart will be there for all time.'” II Chronicles 7:11-16

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. God is spirit, and those who seek him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

“Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold; for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.” Proverbs 8:10-11

“–and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.” James 5:15-16

“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.” I Chronicles 28:9

I AM Speaking

Adjust your thinking as if in tuning a radio to a frequency, you can adjust your thoughts to be focused in the spirit to hear more clearly, succinctly. I AM not in your mind, but your mind cannot be ‘drifting’ to hear clearly through your spirit. Just as that radio frequency may drift and, though you hear the sounds, you may catch what is being said and yet you may not.

Focus–be in tune

Seek Me until you hear clearly, and then remain focused until I AM finished speaking. Some wander–their thoughts interfering, right in the middle of My statement. Would you be so rude to a friend or would you be attentive? Do you care to hear what I have to say or are you doubting that it is I speaking to you? Would you be upset if I were to only listen to half of your prayer, as if I didn’t care?

I do care

And it is because I care, that I AM patient and forgiving and I choose to speak again. Will you focus?

I AM speaking

And I would like to speak to you!

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.” John 5:44-45

“So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me; if any man’s will is to do his will, he shall know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. He who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood.” John 7:16-18

“So Jesus said, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority but speak thus as the Father taught me. And he who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.'” John 8:28-29

“–he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens; the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:2-5

“I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15

Hope Springs Eternal

The substance of a heart is much like the substance of faith. You cannot see the substance of a person’s heart, for it is hidden inside, but you have an idea of its makeup and, by outward expression, you receive an understanding of how it feels, reacts, responds. You speak to that person and you can tell if there is love within.

So it is with faith–you don’t see it, but you have an impression that it is there, and it is revealed by the outward expression of hope. In other words when hope takes action, a response of faith springs forth–hope springs eternal.

If you put action to your hope, faith emerges, and as faith emerges, you are encouraged. As you are encouraged faith grows–springs out of your heart as a stream of life…

Flowing

Allow this faith to flow from your heart, through your mouth, mixed with the Word, and it shall not return void or empty. Hope shall spring eternal.

Your answer will come!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Rom. 15:13

“He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water'” Jn. 7:38

“The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a gushing stream.” Prov. 18:4

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Heb. 11:1 KJV

“–because we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” II Cor. 4:18

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.” II Thess. 2:16-17

I AM Near to Hear

Supplement a rich diet of the Word with prayer. The two go hand in hand and should never be apart. For you can read, and even know My Word, but prayer inquires and enlists My help.

Prayer activates Divine intervention

Without prayer, I would be intercepting and out of order. I AM a God of order and I do not control your life. Rather, I empower you to be in charge, and enable you to be in control. Prayers enlist Me to Divinely support you, actively listen and to interact with you in your life, on your behalf.

I AM your Divine council

Bring your thoughts to the table and inquire of Me. I already know what you are thinking, but prayer and listening enables you to hear what I AM thinking.

Prayer is an outward expression of caring for another

It gives you an active voice on their behalf, and an opportunity for you to serve those you love and care for–even when they are not near.

Prayer brings Me near to hear

Is that clear?

Please Pray.

I AM Here to Hear.

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving–” Colossians 4:2a

“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord; and my prayer came to thee, into thy holy temple.” Johah 2:7

“Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication!” Psalms 55:1

“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, will receive anything from the Lord.” James 1:5-8

“May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! Now I know that the Lord will help his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with mighty victories by his right hand.” Psalms 20:4-6

“Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let hims sing praise. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.” James 5:13-16

The Season

Mighty are those who have heard My words and choose to act on them. I give messages in season, for the proper time, but My Word is a season in itself. It is always instant in season and out, and so shall you be if you abide in My Word and act upon what you hear.

In the parable of the talents, I was angry with the man who hid the talent given him. He feared Me, and did not know Me. He did not seek Me, to know of My ways. Had he done this, I would have taught him what to do with the given talent–his measure, to increase him greatly in knowledge, wisdom and stature. Those who made use of their talents were given more. Their wisdom, money, and abilities increased. More was given–more is then required. The cycle continues for as I have spoken earlier, there is always more.

You will be ever learning and ever growing in stature and responsibility in My Kingdom if you so choose, or, you could choose to bury what has been given to you and see Me as a harsh, unbending, and unyielding task master, as did the wicked servant.

I AM love to those who love Me, and I AM yet love to those who don’t. I do not change, but I cannot abide wickedness and will not accept or tolerate it. I AM unchanging, remaining constant for ever. Man must therefore change to remain constant for ever!

I will be found by those who seek Me.

Time is too precious to sell, and yet it runs through your fingers like fine sand.

You cannot grasp it.

You cannot hold on to it.

You can only spend it, therefore, spend wisely before it runs out…

Before it’s too late!

Tis the season.

“Preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching.” II Timothy 4:2

“And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipment of the saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ; so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceitful wiles. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and upbuilds itself in love.” Ephesians 4:11-16

“For it will be as when a man going on a journey called his servants and entrusted to them his property; to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.” “Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master. And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’ He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not winnow; so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’ But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I have not winnowed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.'” Matthew 25:14-15, 19-30

“The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” II Peter 3:9-13

“For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those that do evil.” I Peter 3:12

The Hidden Nugget

Relax your fingernails–they are digging in too hard. You need to trust Me more. I AM sufficient for you in all things.

I complete you.

Allow Me to direct your day, before you get ‘caught away’ in various tasks that may keep you busy, but may not be productive toward your goal–that of your call.

  • Wisdom is the key that opens the door of understanding.
  • Seek wisdom–call for it in prayer.
  • Study My Word for nuggets of Truth, hidden in plain sight.

So much is lost when one fails to pray and listen within before opening the Word. For if you would make this your practice, I will guide you as you read, and you will find great fulfillment in the scriptures–the living Word. It shall become alive within you as you eat of it–the life-giving Word. Manna from Heaven. You will find your study time will no longer be a drudgery, but an anticipated event, for it will satisfy and settle your heart.

If you love Me, then love My Word. For we are one and the same. Food for your soul–the Living Word.

Words for life

Words to live by–for I AM Life.

I AM

A hidden nugget in plain sight!

“Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee. Trust in the Lord for ever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4

“My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. for the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and preserving the way of his saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path; for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you; understanding will guard you; delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech–” Proverbs 2:1-12

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding, for the gain from it is better than gain from silver and its profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called happy.” Proverbs 3:13-18

“The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens; by his knowledge the deeps broke forth, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, keep sound wisdom and discretion; let them not escape from your sight, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely and your foot will not stumble. If you sit down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.” Proverbs 3:19-24

“–“Let you heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Get wisdom; get insight. Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. the beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a fair garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.” Proverbs 4:4b-9

“Make me to know thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; for thee I wait all the day long.” Psalms 25:4-5

“The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; thou holdest my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also dwells secure.” “Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is fulness of joy, in thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.” Psalms 16:5-9,11

“You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God–” I Peter 1:23

“–whoever keeps his word, in him truly love for God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him: he who says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” I John 2:5-6

“O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory for ever. Amen.” Romans 11:33-36

“Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ Jesus then said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven, and gives life to the world.’ They said to him ‘Lord, give us this bread always.’ Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.'” John 6:31-35

“May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.” II Thessalonians 3:5

Hear O Israel

Tell Israel I have not forgotten them. For the time of favor has come. Good news has reached the nations and yet My people lack zeal; they lack the fortitude necessary to complete the assignment for Israel.

My Chosen People

The time has come to be grafted back to the tree…

The root that birthed you.

O Israel

Your brothers and sisters have grown to a multitude–a nation of every sort. For a time you stepped away that others may come. The message was clear, there were many to be won.

Fear not O Israel.

I have not forgotten you.

You are My chosen nation.

The back that once turned, returns to say

Come.

“But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place to share the richness of the olive tree, do not boast over the branches. If you do boast, remember it is not you that supports the root, but the root that supports you.” Romans 11:17-18

“Lest you be wise in your own conceits, I want you to understand this mystery, brethren; a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in, and so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.” As regards the gospel they are enemies of God, for your sake; but as regards election they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Just as you were once disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may receive mercy. For God has consigned all men to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.” Romans 11:25-32

“But thou O Lord, art enthroned for ever; thy name endures to all generations. Thou wilt arise and have pity on Zion; it is the time to favor her; the appointed time has come.” Psalms 102:12-13

“For the Lord will build up Zion, he will appear in his glory; he will regard the prayer of the destitute, and will not despise their supplication.” Psalms 102:16

“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. Isaiah 40:1-2

“Listen to me in silence, O coastlands; let the peoples renew their strength; let them approach, then let them speak; let us together draw near for judgment. Isaiah 41:1

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice to the nations.” Isaiah 42:1

I’m Calling

It appears that the days are getting shorter and that time is speeding up. There is an urgency in the air and I want you to recognize that time is indeed running out.

Sin is rampant and many have grown cold–even to their family members. There are many who once believed My Word, but have begun to wane, for they believe that I have taken too long in ‘making good’ My promises and especially My promise to return. Is it too long, My friend, if another day would save a soul from Hell? If you had to choose from your friends and loved ones, which one would you discard?

Exactly!

There isn’t one of you that I would choose to let go of either. It is My desire that all will come to the knowledge of the Truth–that all will be saved. The heart-breaking truth is that all will not be–even though they can be. Just as in the days of Noah, many refuse to believe. They call it a fairy tale and laugh in My face; in much the same way the guards spit in My face.

Oh, but I love them, and beseech the Father to wait.

For it just may be your friend I’m waiting for

or

It just may be you.

Don’t wait, or it may be too late!

I’m Calling

“For the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house. But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” Micah 7:6-7

“And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13

But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. “Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation.” II Peter 3:9-15a

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good, and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony to which was born at the proper time.” I Timothy 2:1-7

“Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and the late rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” James 5:7-8

“Watch therefore–for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight or at cockcrow, or in the morning– lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all; Watch.” Mark 13:35-36

Let Us Pray

Prayer is engaging Me in conversation with you, by initiating the conversation; it is not about reciting your list. Come to Me and, yes, with praise and thanksgiving, make your requests known, but don’t stop there and leave; let’s talk about what’s on your heart. I would like the opportunity to share My heart with you as well.

Have you ever stopped to consider that I enjoy talking to you? A conversation involves more than one person speaking.

Involve Me…

I do more than listen–

  • I speak
  • I direct
  • I teach
  • I encourage

and yes, I answer prayer.

Are you not more inclined to assist the needs of one who is your friend? When you build a friendship–relationship, a deep bond forms and you would go to great lengths to be of service to your friend.

I call you friend.

And I would, and do go to great lengths to be of service to you.
