Sittin on a Log

If I could just see to get that log out of my eye, I am confident that I will find that my brother doesn’t have the speck that I thought he had–it is merely the shadow of my own log.

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:3-5

Why can’t I seem to get that log out?

I think my fingers are too big, or pointed in the wrong direction. I will look to the Word. I am sure that therein is the tool to remove the log from my eye.

And when I’ve got that log out, I will see clearly to love my neighbor as myself; for I am certain to be more loveable then!

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

For the Least

Intense yearning–that is what I feel for My Body; an intense yearning to break free from the bondage of tradition. It is a hindrance to Me that so many are held by what they know, but not open to what they do not yet know.

They have a measure of Truth, but My Truth is far reaching and ever more revealing and it is all there in Word to be found by those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

But there are blinders on those who have judgment in their heart.

Judge not that ye be not judged, for I have so much more for thee and it is written in My Word for ‘all’ to see. You need not have a degree in theology to understand My Word–I came to fishermen on the sea. I chose the simple of the world to confound the wise–simply for you to be free.

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:1-5

Those who have knowledge, I caution you strictly, do not lord this knowledge over those who have not–do not hinder my little ones; for the least shall be first in My Kingdom. And those most vulnerable shall be held in greater honor. Rather, look to yourself for you lack something greater; you lack understanding of My Word–love thy neighbor as thyself.

“On the contrary, the parts of the body which seem to be weaker are indispensable, and those parts of the body which we think less honorable we invest with the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so adjusted the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior part, that there may be no discord in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.” I Corinthians 12:22-25

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.'” Matthew 22:37-40

I shall hold you to account for those you have bound by judgment; the judgment goes to thee, for ‘those’ I have set free!

“And Jesus called them to him and said to them, ‘You know that those who are supposed to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you; but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:42-45

“For consider your call, brethren; not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth; but God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong, God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom, our righteousness and sanctification and redemption; therefore, as it is written, ‘Let him who boasts, boast of the Lord.'” I Corinthians 1:26-31

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let not each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which you have in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross” Philippians 2:1-8

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. and we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:17-18

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” Matthew 28:18-19

Minute By Minute

You see a lapse of time as wasted, but what you don’t ‘see’ is what is happening all around you. The stage is being set for your future, all about you, and yet you continue unaware.

You think nothing will change and yet every minute changes your life.

Your focus is narrow and you see with your eyes. I want you to ‘see’ with vision. See possibility in every circumstance, no matter how mundane. And those that you thought, affected you not–those I want you to re-claim.

“Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see!” Isaiah 42:18

You see every minute has a purpose–an action in your life; carving and shaping your destiny.

The things that you fight–serve as insight, of growth that’s yours to be gained.

Value every minute of your life!

“Who is blind but my servant, or deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is blind as my dedicated one, or blind as the servant of the Lord? He sees many things, but does not observe them; his ears are open, but he does not hear.

The Lord was pleased, for his righteousness sake, to magnify his law and make it glorious. But this is a people robbed and plundered, they are all of them trapped in holes and hidden in prisons; they have become a prey with none to rescue, a spoil with none to say, ‘Restore!’

Who among you will give ear to this, will attend and listen for the time to come?” Isaiah 42:19-23

“Lord, let me know my end, and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is! Behold, thou hast made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing in they sight. Surely every man stands as a mere breath!” Psalms 39:4-5

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” II Corinthians 3:17-18

“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is mightier than a strong man, and a man of knowledge than he who has strength; for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.” Proverbs 24:3-6

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.” Proverbs 19:20-21

“Blessed are the men whose strength is in thee, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.” Psalms 84:5

The Heart of Submission

Humility is not an act that one ‘chooses’. For to choose to be humble is a prideful move. Rather, humility is the fruit of submission. Submission to Me; submission to others. It is your heartfelt desire to serve–place others before you.

Your desire for the Kingdom’s best is the desire of your heart.

This is rare and special, for so many are torn, and live a life of mixed values; indecisive, they lack allegiance to anything.

The humble heart is a pure heart–a life lived with purpose.

“Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark 10:15

This one has determined to leave all and follow Me. Those who do, have this goal in mind and are unshakable. Their every decision is weighed against the goal. Will it balance; will this take me closer or further from my goal–from my purpose?

“And every one who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. but many that are first will be last, and the last first.” Matthew 19:29-30

They are determined, focused–an athlete among their peers, for they are in training every day. If you have laid your life down for My Kingdom, you have set your heart on the highest goal that can be achieved; an honorable decision, not easily done, for it all begins with submission.

Submitting your pride to ask Me inside–admitting your sin, you’ve begun . . .

“The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility goes before honor.” Proverbs 15:33

Now, continue to find, that submission inside, each day of your life that you’ve won!

“And you, who once were estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him, provided that you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.” Colossians 1:21-23

“–Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is in vain that the scripture says, ‘He yearns jealously over the spirit which he has made to dwell in us’? But he gives more grace; therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:4-7

“Take your share of suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier on service gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to satisfy the one who enlisted him. An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” II Timothy 2:3-5

“As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

“Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.” II Timothy 4:7-8

“The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4

Today is Your Day

Your life is changing, and you see differences, and yet your senses tell you that you are not ‘there’ yet…

You are right, for you are not.

This ‘new place’ in your life is but a step in your future, but it is your now. I do not wish for you to miss today searching for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is loss if today is not well understood.

Do you understand?

Seek to know, fully, My will for your life in this time of your life; for there is fruit in every season if you will look for it.

Longing to ‘arrive’ will only prolong the wait, for if you have not matured to the fruit of this season, your heart will debate that too. Therefore, find contentment now; knowing that, if you will allow Me, I will lead you to ever-greener pastures.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.” Psalms 23:1-3

For there is always more, but if you are not ready for more, then more will be wasted. And, should you not utilize what I give you now, then ‘more’ would overwhelm.

Leave the dynamics to Me–I know you completely and I have much more in store for you.

In store.

But as for now, let’s find fruit in today, for this is your day!

“And he made from one every nation of men to live on the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us, for, ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your poets have said. ‘For we are indeed his offspring.'” Acts 17:26-28

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” Colossians 1:9b-12

“–that you may be filled in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:8-11

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God then dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalms 84:10

“Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:1-2

Sunny Skies

I will be stable in the midst of the storm.

When it seems that you are engulfed and you don’t know where to turn–don’t turn!

I AM right here. I never left and I never will.

“Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to thee, when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I; for thou art my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.” Psalms 61:1-3

“He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly moved.” Psalms 62:2

I want you to stay steady when all is chaotic around you, for you are not to take orders from the press around you. Rather, stand firm–give no place; for your place is resting in Me in the midst of the storm.

Face your greatest fear and say–peace, be still.

“And a great storm of wind arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him and said to him, ‘Teacher, do you not care if we perish?’ And he awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, ‘Why are you afraid? Have you no faith?’ And they were filled with awe, and said to one another, ‘Who then is this, that even wind and sea obey him?'” Mark 4:37-41

For if your perception of that storm has changed, then you are no longer in faith and you have relinquished your authority to fear.

Have no fear!

Gather up your faith again–hear My Word and speak to the storm to be still.

I remind you that if you step out of love, you leave an open door for fear to enter. Perfect love casts out fear–

  • Check your heart
  • Repent
  • Forgive
  • Get back into love

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love.” I John 4:18

Cast out the fear and move on. You’ll find the storms will change right quickly if you check your heart right from the start; it is your weather forecaster.

Clear skies ahead–sunny instead; that’s what love brings; that’s what a clear heart sings

Sunny skies ahead!

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any one; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.'” Mark 11:23-26

“‘Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.'” Matthew 7:24-25

“Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” I Corinthians 13:4-7

“For you shall go out in joy, and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12

Blessed in My Rest

True fulfillment comes from knowing the contentment of resting in My Truth.

I marvel that My children spend so much of their lives struggling and living far below the means that I have provided for them, simply because they have not become grounded in My Word.

If you are struggling, then you are simply living beneath My Truth.

For I paid the highest price, that you might have the best of everything. Do not stand for less, rather, take a stand for My Truth and accept nothing less.

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich.” II Corinthians 8:9

“The death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:10-11

“If you then have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4

If you settle, it is not My Word that is lacking, but that you are lacking My Word.

Think on that and wake up.

Awaken to My Truth for your life.

“Awake, and strengthen what remains and is on the point of death, for I have not found your works perfect in the sight of my God. Remember then what you received and heard; keep that, and repent. If you will not awake, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you.” Revelation 3:2-3

“Besides this you know what hour it is, how it is full time now for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed; the night is far gone, the day is at hand. Let us then cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light; let us conduct ourselves becomingly as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.” Romans 13:11-14

“But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-7

For your life in this realm is short indeed and there is so much to do.

May we proceed?

When you settle this in your heart and begin to live in your full potential, then in full confidence we will accomplish all that I’ve intended for your life.

Settle it.

Stop fighting with what is not yours and take what is Mine; I’ve long ago given it to you.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever.” I John 2:15-17

“–Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'” John 8:12

For you are Mine and you are BLESSED in My Rest.

“‘Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.'” Matthew 11:28-30

“–‘If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.'” John 8:31b-32

“–‘Truly, truly, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not continue in the house for ever; the son continues for ever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.'” John 8:34-36

“So then, there remains a sabbath rest for the people of God; for whoever enters God’s rest also ceases from his labors as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, that no one fall by the same sort of disobedience.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And before him no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Hebrews 4:9-13

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace which he lavished upon us. For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fulness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Ephesians 1:3-10

Prepare Your Heart

Prepare to receive

Have you prepared you heart to receive all that I have in store for you; Have you read My Word to find out what that might be?

“Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who have pleasure in them.” Psalms 111:2

So many do not. They pray a prayer in passing–hoping an answer will come but, expecting that it won’t, they barely pause to say what’s on their heart.

Unbelief

Prepare your heart to pray. For if you are praying in unbelief, how is it that you expect to receive? And if you don’t expect an answer, why pray?

Prepare your heart

Find the answer in My Word–it contains the purpose of My Will–then apply My Word to your situation. If you know it is My Will for you, then you may pray with confidence and expect to receive.

Prepare your heart in My Word to believe

Now, prepare to receive. For I AM prepared to give–your answer will come. If you believe, you will receive!

“If you set your heart aright, you will stretch out your hands toward him. If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in your tents. Surely then you will lift up your face without blemish; you will be secure, and will not fear.

You will forget your misery; you will remember it as waters that have passed away. And your life will be brighter than the noonday; its darkness will be like the morning.

And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, and none will make you afraid; many will entreat your favor. But the eyes of the wicked will fail; all way of escape will be lost to them, and their hope is to breathe their last.” Job 11:13-20

“As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

“–‘If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:31-32

“Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I Thessalonians 5:16-17

“–Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name. Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23-24

“O Lord, thou wilt hear the desire of the meek; thou wilt strengthen their heart, thou wilt incline thy ear to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.” Psalms 10:17-18

The Right Choice

Blessing or circumstance? You choose.

Circumstances can change and vary throughout your life–sometimes good and others may be bad. But the Blessing is always good, constant, for those who purpose to do My Will.

“I delight to do thy will, O my God; thy law is within my heart.” Psalms 40:8

I AM not a respecter of persons, in that all are welcome to get in the flow. All may desire My Blessing and I AM willing that all be Blessed, but My Blessing does not flow to all, for all do not choose the path that is good–the path of the righteous.

“And Peter opened his mouth and said; ‘Truly, I perceive that God shows no partiality, but in every nation any one who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.” Acts 10:34-35

Many scoff and banter at those who choose good, yet they long for the Blessings that flow in their life.

Very simple, change your ways.

For all are welcome and I welcome all.

My Love is boundless and My Blessing flows to all who will receive; If only you’d believe.

“Take heed to the path of your feet, then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.” Proverbs 4:26-27

“Thou meetest him that joyfully works righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways.” Isaiah 64:5

Your scoffing is a brave front to hide the fear inside. I see clear to your heart of fear and long to comfort you. So I ask you, dear one, to set aside the bravado, relinquish your past; acknowledge your need and I will not rest to see that you are BLESSED!

Take heed of My warning, the time is short and now is, that you must choose.

“Behold the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the earth a desolation and to destroy its sinners from it.” Isaiah 13:9

Blessing or circumstances?

You Choose

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and preserving the way of his saints.” Proverbs 2:6-8

“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalms 128:1-2

“Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!” Psalms 119:1-3

“Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways; for the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence. The curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the abode of the righteous. Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he shows favor. The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace.” Proverbs 3:31-35

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice, and cleaving to him; for that means life to you and length of days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Think On Me

Be still and know that I Am God.

“Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him–” Psalms 37:7a

You have My full attention…Think on that.

Take time to rest in Me. Be aware of My Presence within you. Do you sense the stirring in your spirit?

I AM

Chapter upon chapter your life is written; some are fleeting, and you wonder where the time went; some cause you to wonder if hardship will ever end. But all are written for only you.

“Thou has kept count of my tossings; put thou my tears in thy bottle! Are they not in thy book?” Psalms 56:8

Many are the thoughts a man has in a lifetime–you would be astounded at the count. Just as astonishing is how very few of those ‘counts’ are directed toward Me and yet–

  • I AM Savior.
  • I lift burdens.
  • I ease the yoke.
  • I give purpose and meaning to your life.

“From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides thee, who works for those who wait for him. Thou meetest him that joyfully works righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways.” Isaiah 64:4-5

You think that your thoughts rate your experience but, in reality, your thoughts guide and sometimes set your experience. You have the ability to rethink your path–set your course.

Control your tongue, that there be no remorse.

Your mind controls the actions of your body. If your spirit controls your mind and you are submitted to Me, your actions will be good. Allow your mind to reign, and it will soon be, that confusion and blame are all you see.

So, as you write your life, realize that your mind directs your pen. But you have the power in your spirit to direct your mind. You can live your life helpless–later to ‘read’ where you have been, or command your thoughts to flow with where your ‘pen’ shall go.

I AM your Guide.

“And I will lead the blind in a way that they know not, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I will do, and I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16

Be still and know that I AM God!

“Be still, and know that I am God. I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth!” Psalms 46:10

Think on Me.

“–the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.

My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh.

Keep your heart with all vigilance; for from it flow the springs of life.

Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you. Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.

Take heed to the path of your feet, then all  your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or the left; turn your foot away from evil.” Proverbs 4:18-27

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8
